I remember my birthday somewhat recently. I went to a nice restaurant with six of my best friends. We had steak and wine and amazing cream puffs with chocolate for dessert, the waiters were amazing and attentive despite the pandemic, and we all, including myself, paid for our own meals. Because my birthday was not about people getting me things, it was about me spending my special day with some of the best damn people on this whole planet. My meal was $70 and I was happy to pay it. I tipped very generously as well. Later, I bought myself an Apple watch and did not have to lie and beg to be able to afford it. Because I saved up for weeks to be able to buy it for myself. And for the record, I don't go on toy buying sprees and restaurant eating constantly, which is HOW I was able to save up for that.
These are pleasures and privileges you will never know, Louis; nor will you ever even get hints of beyond the people you constantly resent for having things you do not. The difference is we have those things and can afford more than paper bags full of fried lard because we work and earn them. You should try it sometime. It beats dying of the 'betus.
