Alright, I want to say something about his little disclaimer. It comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of the issue people have. It's not just that he buys art and video games with his leftover money.
It's that he tells people he can't even afford bandages for his injured foot. If someone is truly that poor, they probably don't have anything leftover for video games in the first place, and when they do, they're scared to spend it because they never know when the next expense will be. Video games for the bottom 10% like Lou claims to be are an occasional luxury if they do it at all, not something they buy every couple of weeks. Lou doesn't have any bills to pay, he lives rent free in his mother's home, and he has people consistently willing to give him money just for existing. He also very likely receives some kind of welfare, or at the very least he's eligible for it since I doubt the money people send him is counted as taxable income.
Lou tells us a story about how he's taking care of his disabled family and can't work because of transphobia, but none of the facts he provides line up with that. He doesn't even care enough to hide his purchases.

We can assume two possibilities here.
1. Louis is lying about needing money to begin with.
2. Louis is so bad with money that despite being this poor, he can't stop spending on new luxury shit.
Or maybe its both.

None of the above options are good or excuse his situation. THAT is the issue here, and one that no disclaimer of his can explain away.

Louis is the king of half-understanding. Yes, Louis, Christians have persecuted people in the past violently, but not in the modern day. Yes, Louis, you generally need a computer to function in society now, but not a trillion dollar supercomputer/gaming PC and three additional backup laptops. Yes, Louis, you need money to get food you need to survive, but you don't need five gallons of diet Sierra Mist a day to stay alive.

The latest trend in this is that he understands people in the past have gotten angry at him for saying he needs money for some thing he needs to survive and then taking it and spending it on frivolities. His answer to that is just blurting out that he's going to spend it on frivolities on top of the stuff he supposedly needs to survive (with the cash he needs just to live conveniently not given a specified quantity). He completely misses the point that yes, Louis, nobody wants to fund you commissioning furry porn of your steroid-boosted man-tiger's water breaking as it pushes twentieth-trimester octuplets out of its whale-sized clown car uterus. But you saying you will blow money on that just makes it more obvious you're wasting their would-be donations. People still aren't going to chip in unless they don't know who you are, and they're just not going to be (as) mad when they find out you wasted their donation. If anything, you've convinced even less people to donate.

I'm also beginning to notice that Louis has an extremely obvious tell of getting furious whenever people ask innocent questions due to the multiple holes in his lie. And it's not a problem with answering questions, either. People ask Louis questions all the time, and when it makes him look more pathetic, he's more than happy to answer them. The moment it makes it look like he's not telling the truth (even when it would be exceptionally easy to just lie further to fill in the logical gaps), he just goes off the handle.

Other than video game consoles, the majority of the devices he owns are made by apple. Apple has been pretty strict about running non-apple operating systems on their machines, so I'm not sure Louis even knows that he could put another OS on there.

Hmmm. Those who are on disability are supposed to get stimulus checks. If Lou doesn't get one, it means my original speculation that he was getting government assistance (specifically SSI) is wrong.

Because I know for a fact that people with disabilities are receiving stimulus checks. People who worked are receiving the checks, and those with children are able to receive them too. I had assumed Lou was on disability, because...its fucking Louis. I had also assumed Mama Gag was getting his check to go towards bills and such. If I had a child that acted like Lou and didn't pay or contribute...his ass would be on the curb.

His toe is also getting much worse, and his toes are so swollen they no longer resemble the skeletal structure of a normal foot. His toes make me think of Mickey Mouse gloves, very round and stubby. His feet are so swollen, and sodium heavy food will only make it worse. Which...is all he eats and drinks. I can imagine his fifties are going to be very rough.
