It's not shocking that he just now figured out he's type 2. Anyone who saw a picture could have guessed he was type 2 just by how heavy he is. Most everyone on this thread said he was type 2. Everyone warned him that he was going to get an infection and lose his foot. If it's septic and in the bone, well he's screwed. They'll probably start a plan of antibiotics and if it fails it'll be an amputation. With Lou's diabetes confirmed, I wouldn't give Lou more than a few years after to live. I suggest we change the pool's wording for when the antibiotics fail how long it'll be before we have a stump pic.
Lou isn't going to properly take his insulin. He's been type 2 for a while he says so the damage is done. The life style change might help prevent him from having a heart attack but it won't make his pancreas suddenly work again. Lou is probably going to try and grift for a pump since it's more expensive, though who knows if it'll work for him over daily shots, and get another infection because he can't clean it properly.
