Been aware, but I'm saying the side effects have put plenty of people completely down for days at a time, and he's a walking ball of unhealthy lard. Took a few weeks off and I come back to find that Lou has given up pretending to hide that he's ban evading.

Regarding vaccines: Moderna seems to be the pretty popular option in the greater Pittsburgh area, regardless of your risk level. And the side effects are somewhat varied, with the second shot generally being much worse than the first. With Lou's particular build and lack of foresight to prepare and drink enough water that isn't laced with sugar, I can definitely see him being feverish for at *least* 2-3 days next month. Either he'll sleep through it or live tweet every miserable moment.

My first shot was way worse than the second. The side effects from the second came on a LOT faster but also ended within 24 hours - they also weren't as severe, I just felt somewhat Covid-y, rather than the three days of misery after my first shot. Also my arm didn't hurt nearly as much after the second shot, but it got red and itchy instead.

However, everyone's different and I wonder if my side effects were worse initially because I already had Covid; perhaps my body already had some antibodies ready to go to war for the first shot... I don't know. Dammit Jim, I'm not an epidemiologist!

Got my first dose same day as Lou actually, Pfizer. Protocal is they make you sit for 15 mins after to make sure you're not dying or something then let you go. So far I've just had some tiredness and my arm aches a little but nothing insane. They gave out a 4 page pamphlet on the vaccine with all the details you could ever dream of- the ingredients, side effects & how common they are and where to contact someone to report any side effects you get that might not be listed.

I know people that have felt quite rough after both types of vaccine though. I heard it could be worse if you've actually had covid before, because you already have some level of immune response built up. Idk how true that is but it makes sense I guess. Pfizer lists the most common side effects as fever, tiredness, muscle aches, headache and nausea iirc. Basically feeling like you have some kind of infection, which I assume is your immune system having a panic over the vaccine entering you. Not sure if those are similar symptoms across the board, I think the Astrazenica one is similar from what I've heard.

I haven't heard of bloatedness as a symptom though, I think there more likely to be to do with what you ate Lou lol.

When I first happened upon Undertale LARPer he caught my attention precisely because he was in the midst of some kind of existential crisis about the loss (?) of Asriel, the betrayal by the larger furry (?) community, and other assorted issues. This would have been in the fall of 2019. I do not know anything about Undertale as an IP so cannot offer more insight.

But really, asking instead of telling is just a technique used to help kids feel involved. It's making them feel like they're an important part of a team instead of just forced.

This strategy only works properly if you maintain control as the adult. Instead of saying, “Do you want to ______?” to which a child can reasonably respond “Nope!” and that’s it, you’ve painted yourself into a corner, it’s wiser to provide options like “Do you want to load or unload the dishwasher?” or “Do you want to wash or dry the dishes?” If all you offer is an opt in/opt out, it’s your own fuckin fault when the kid sees the easy path to doing nothing to help.

I have heard from several sources that for people who had COVID, the reaction to the first shot is worse than the second, while the reverse is true for those who were never infected. Anecdotal but interesting, maybe.

Covid shot- I got the moderna one, the first just resulted in a very sore arm for a few days, the second resulted in getting fairly sick the next day. I had a fever, aches, etc and a very sore arm again. The illness lasted less than a day though.
