for me, I think it is his lack of appreciation for anything. not just his material goods, which he definitely does not value whatsoever, but the simple things in life: a roof over his head, food in his belly (despite his constant whining about being on the brink of starvation), people on twitter who still value him enough to try to give him encouragement or a kind word, the companionship of his pets. everyone has troubles, but most people, if asked will be able to name at least a few things that they are thankful for. whereas Lou, if he is asked directly to name something he's grateful for, will deliberately say "nothing." just to fish for more pity, as though in a world full of war, sickness, misery and human cruelty, he alone is suffering so greatly that there is nothing in his life worth celebrating.

I agree about the lying. The fact that he doesn't even flinch at the lies and yet still holds himself to Wonder Woman as his personal mirror makes it comical. You're trying to explain that he's wrong about an aspect of religion? Well, LOU WAS ALMOST A PRIEST! You tell him that he needed to have his knuckles smacked more often by his mother when he was a kid? HIS MOTHER IS DEAAAAAAD! I've seen him lie about owning his house, his heritage (claiming he's a Jew, and earlier an American Indian), and just about everything else to aid in his grift. He'll even go so far as to injure himself (see: nastyfoot) and break his own property (like his glasses) if he can use it for a grift. He's claimed his stepfather was at risk of Covid and he needed to be the food provider for the house, then claimed his stepfather had caught Covid (and somehow his entire immunocompromised house did not), and of course every time something happens in the family, Lou pleads for money for his 'nephew'.
The end of it that actually scares the shit out of me is his utter lack of empathy and how this whole thread chronicles a backslide into mental illness and delusion. I think Lou has lied to himself enough that he actually believes it. And the moments where he acknowledges he's a piece of garbage in his hastily deleted posts are little brief moments of clarity that he then drowns out in McDonalds and tech purchases. His Sisyphean attempts at crawling out end up the way one expects. But instead of admitting that he's in a hell of his own making, he lies about his attempts to get a job and blames the cruel cruel universe (which provides him with his tech and junk food money) for all of his failings.
He could do something else his mother has actually never done...........be dead.

Her punctuation is what really gets me. Commas everywhere. The "......" to end or conjoin sentences. She misspells a lot of words and rarely capitalizes words that should be. Grammar isn't a strong suit of mine, but these read like a drunk women or a person that was part of the "no child left behind" school mandate. Though, that was implemented before her time.
