Eh. I don't spend any time actively wishing bad things would happen to Lou. But him being in hospital and having to go through some negative experiences based on his own stupid actions? When he has been told many times, and not just by us, how to avoid having to go through this? When any actual concern people showed him was just met with aggression?

Yeah, he can rot into pieces for all I care. I have no sympathy for Lou experiencing hardships, because he actively works to bring them on himself. In fact, the only work he's done has been in cultivating a rotten foot and severe diabetes, so if this is true it's one thing Lou has successfully put effort into and succeeded in doing.

Idk what to think about it. I suppose I hope he's gone to the hospital for real because (a) enjoy some fucking shame and consequences for being a retard and (b) it means he won't just drop dead over the festering foothole. But on the other hand it's Lou and we're short on evidence, and lord knows we've seen he's willing to say literally anything to further his grift. I wouldn't put it past him at all to fake a whole hospital saga.
I counted responses from at least ten different people on the 'going to the hospital' tweet via searching his twitter handle, which is funny in it's own way because it means that there are at least that many people who actively don't have him muted... but sure do ignore that ebegging, lol.

IMO he's telling the truth, at least in the broad scheme of things. My reason for thinking that is there is no way in hell he would EVER say that KF was right unless they actually were and there was no way of hiding it any longer. His ego would never permitted him to ever admit we were right about anything as part of a lie/grift, it would be too humiliating.

What it's also undoubtedly also proof of is that he does indeed read this thread, despite all his denials.

Lou may not lose his foot, depending on how bad the impact crater of his got. If it got down to his bones and the infection spread, Stumpy Louie is going to be his new nick name. If it just progressed a bit worse from what we’ve seen, he’ll have a nasty scar but modern antibiotic treatments may be able to save his foot even now. He definitely has the beetus though, and I await the insulin grifting arc.

If we did, we would have told you your foot was fine and to ignore it, rather than scream at you for the best part of a year to see a doctor. As you have now admitted that we were right, you no longer get to claim that the Farms wishes you harm.

It may be too late for you to have any chance of a happy, pain-free life now. Depending on exactly how hard you have abused your body, you could well be permanently disabled or worse. You will never amount to much now. You missed that boat.

It may be that the only useful thing you do with your life is to serve as a warning to others.

I agree with this, and I take "It's [not] diabetes... yet" to mean that they're testing his A1C but hadn't received the results yet at the time. I can't imagine that it won't be off the charts. As much as he complains that his life is an unending hellscape, this may be the first real crisis he's ever faced, and it's going to jerk him back to reality quickly and painfully. I posted earlier that when he finally gets the DX, every food he eats is going to basically be off limits to him forever. Dinner goes from 4 sloppy joes to skinless chicken breast and steamed broccoli... enjoy! And it doesn't get better, it only gets worse! Even if he does lose his foot I guarantee it won't hurt as much as the dietary changes.

Like great-grandma crossing the tracks, Lou's about to get hit by the reality train hard. Everything is going to change when he gets that diagnosis. We may never see him unlock again--those petty grifts and political squabbles might fade into insignificance as he starts his new full-time job as CEO of keeping his fucking body parts from falling off.

He might do that, but I suspect he's more going to wallow in self-pity and not change his lifestyle. Making significant dietary changes requires significant self-discipline and sustained effort, none of which Lou has been capable of in the last 37 years and I don't see him starting now.

I hope he is shocked into being a substantially better person, but I've seen enough cows (and enough episodes of My 600lb Life) to know that these kinds of people are incapable of accepting responsibility for their own circumstances and simply don't change. I give it even odds that Lou makes it to 40 at this rate.

I've been wondering about this too. I'm thinking maybe Momma Gags stepped in somehow - perhaps he got sick whilst around her, maybe he passed out, who knows. If Lou had his way he'd never have gone to the hospital, as we've seen up until now. So it makes me think something happened in front of his family and they forced him to go/called an ambulance/whatever.
