There are a couple other Beauty Parlor cows (sammie Bushart comes to mind) where it's pretty equally possible they're lying about getting raped or they really did have something bad happen due to hanging around sketchy people.

It's a complete fabrication. I'm calling it now. IF anything did happen, she was probably just briefly groped or something - which is still pretty shitty but doesn't warrant a sexual assault investigation and barely qualifies as an assault in the first place.

I think people should do well to remember that Luna is very obviously an unmanaged BPD case like most other cows on this forum and they are known to routinely lie or exaggerate on the most outrageous shit. With people like her you've gotta wait for proof until believing any of it. She's cried wolf too many times.

There's so many ways this could be bullshit, but also at least partly true. So much of her story doesn't add up or make sense.
It's not as if there's a "right” way to behave after an assault or rape, but her behaviour overall imo, deviates from the norm.
Some things she's said makes it sound like a grift of some sort: losing her favourite clothes (please replace them), there's cameras - IF they work. It was in the hallway and some guy interrupted it, don't know who, and they didn't even comfort her (plz give sympathy). Multiple photos at the cop shop (reporting to the police makes it real). So traumatised I'm buying myself a dress. I was raped... but only for 5 seconds... by a black man... so I can't tell anyone, because POC victimisation is more important than some random rapist getting caught.
She finally told Lurch after how many days, and he didn't seem to care, but she'd put it online before talking to her fiance. Please validate me x infinity.
It's like her story, and the details, have evolved over the last few days, but in a way that makes everything more vague rather than adding clarity.
If any of this is true I don't believe it happened how she says it did. I think it's fair and reasonable for people to doubt, especially when looking at the few receipts and who they came from.

after catching up on this thread, you’ve all made some good points. Unfortunately I doubt we’ll ever know what really happened. Our only source of information is unreliable, and we’ll only hear bits and pieces of it from her. Though, i do think she will continue to inadvertently give us more evidence that points to it being true or false because it’s Luna, she never forgets a tragic event and discusses them here and there for years to come.

That's a valid point. I do still think it's possible she thinks someone will replace her clothing. The wording she uses is manipulative for sympathy, her favourite top and comfiest ever track pants. Maybe she's banking on someone buying her new ones, maybe she hasn't lost them at all. It'll be interesting if they ever reappear.

If the whole thing was so quick, and no bodily fluids were exchanged, what are they going to find on her clothes after kicking around the apartment for how many days? Did she try and push the person away? No bruises, didn't even lose a fake nail. The guy got spooked by random saviour and ran off, I assume fully dressed. How does any of this work?

You and others have made some good points, and I retract my statement about it being unlikely that someone would file a false police report about rape. It was a pretty big oversight on my part.

I still for whatever reason, believe Luna is telling the truth, but I think it was more along the lines of a sexual assault rather than a rape, just by her description of events. Doesn't really matter, both are traumatizing and blah de blah blah.

Future prediction: If there is any security footage of the assault she'll try and record it on her cellphone and upload to her tumblr/insta for more attention and proof.
