Luna seems to be really into language control. Like weirdly into it, especially when it comes to her parents. You need to say and not to say things exactly like Luna wants to things be said even if you are not talking to her or about her.

Luna just acts like angsty teenager who wants rebel and to be edgy cool kid but that doesn't come her naturally. She is shy insecure introvert and has courage to do passive aggressive at the best. So she doesn't go out and do wild partying all night, backpacking across Europe or something else genuinely daring. She still wants the social resignation but to do it from comfort of her safe zone. So she went and looked from arts and internet and low and behold she came across the emo/goth of this generation. She found out that she has unusual gender, unusual sexuality and into poly relationships, what are the odds? Being special, getting the social currency of oppression and ability of being dick to your parents while feeling smugly superior with little to no work. Tumblr not even once!

I think one of the reasons her comics are so fucking shitty is that there's nothing even resembling a punchline. I keep reading all the ones posted here and waiting for anything vaguely resembling a joke or even like a point, but every time there's nothing. I get that not all comics have to be funny, but they should at least follow a narrative structure where there's finality and they make a point at the end but with her, there's just... Nothing. It's just almost-the-same-but-not-quite panels if her character ranting with no finality or point to be made.

Why is she even making these language comics? Or any of the other comics? Pretty much everyone on Tumblr knows this stuff. She's not 'teaching' anything. It's like she's writing a textpost but going through the completely unnecessary trouble of drawing something that does not need to be drawn. Pictures do not add anything to these comics and she's honestly be better off just writing it into a textpost, and I really think that's mostly what makes these comics so goddamn boring.

Pretty bad all around. The art is hideous, no backgrounds, her dad being a grey eyeless figure doesn't work, the story goes no where and well... this really doesn't paint Luna as a reasonable person. Still, I'm glad that her parents do stand up against her and call her out. I'm not sure if the parent are glad or not when she is away from home. When she is gone so is her angsty holier than you attitude but she might come even crazier and who knows where that will lead. A cult farm of rainbow haired poly asexual lesbians that turns into a (totally empowering) brothel because running a farm requires actual skills and hard work?

I actually kind of like the way she draws facial structure, sometimes. Once and awhile, the eyes and mouth align just right and it's not terrible. But then in the very next panel the eyes are too close and the jaw is too big. You tried, Luna (just not very hard).

I feel like if she practiced consistency, drew other angles than 3/4 bust shots, learned how arms actually work, and got away from that sterile one-width lineart, she could be a semi-competent artist.

The writing is beyond help though. Yeesh.

Does she post about her life anywhere? Is the polyamorous gf still a thing? Is she still a brony? I crave answers.

This is so bad and I don't get it. She clearly has some talent in drawing as the face is okey but she can't do other pretty basic things. Her shirt should not be folding like that especially around the hips. Shoulders are too small and too high. Her hands are tiny compared to the arms and if arms were in that position then the kitty couldn't fit in there. The poor kitty not only is Luna holding it in a really bad way, its leg is clearly broken. Kitties ears are huge and why are the claws showing? Let's not talk about all the awkward mirroring. Seriusly why? Laziness? I mean I did arms like that when I was 12 and tried to cover the fact that I didn't know how to pose people or draw hands but come on. Luna should really eater go and do some figure drawing or do more cartoony style that lets cut corner without looking shit.

It's like she's trying to hold the cat in place to keep it from leaping out her arms.

I have a cat too and that was the first thing that stood out for me. Actually pothered me so much that I did quick sketch to fix it.

Still pretty bad. I don't usually draw in similar style to Luna but I still shows how bad Luna's picture is.
