I think if he had had male friends it might have kept him grounded a little more.

I think his female friends weren't honest enough with him like saying "sorry, I have a boyfriend" instead of flat out saying he is gross and needs a shower.

With his guy friends, when Chris was attracted to a girl, they might have said "in your dreams!" and might have been more helpful with him understanding the kinds of girls that would be in his league.

You know he'd have briefly hopped in the shower and then said "How about now, ready to give up the china? Also my duck is larger than previously photographed and no longer bent." And as we saw with Megan, he just doesn't give up if you're not into him.

Besides, he's had male friends. Just none that became long-term trolls like Anna.

Chris has had male friends. None of them lasted to today, except maybe Joshua Martinez. I don't think Chris has had contact with Josh in awhile. But Josh just pops up once in awhile to rip Chris off or mess with him.

It's not so much whether Chris has had the friends he needed, it's that he has never valued what friends he had, so even if they were people that could've had a good impact on him he muted that impact by not being open-minded. Chris never sees people the way they would like to portray themselves, which means he never sees what good they try to put forth: He only sees them for whatever token value or quality he has arbitrarily assigned to them, even if it is based on nothing.

I've had a few ideas. Maybe he thought it was more unwanted competition, or maybe it was the cursed homo urges he has. Hell, maybe he thought hanging out with guys made him look gay.

Oh, no, I was just talking about Joshua Martinez selling Chris that PSP or him sending Chris on a wild goose chase in the middle of the night for Vanessa or some other girl. I guess Chris' friendship with Joshua Martinez didn't last to today. I was more just thinking about it in comparison to Joseph Herring and other people.

I don't think Chris is really built to handle that kind of honesty between guys, autism or no. And knowing how Chris feels about the majority of men, he would think his friends were keeping the pretty girls all to themselves, rather than trying to help him.

That's all assuming the friends would be genuinely good guys or willing to put that much effort in maintaining a friendship with OPL. I just have a feeling if a guy befriended Chris as he is now, he's looking to get some kind of leverage from it. Kind of like what we speculate Anna is doing.
