I know a certain twitter user that might agree with this sentiment and make it part of his identity.
Yeah it's not like you can get it back. It sounds like this dude had some sort of complication from one though that caused him some sort of pain?It wasn't up to me whether I got it or not. I wish I had been able to make the decision but I ain't stressing. If I ever have a kid I wont circumcise him.
This was one thing mentioned in the article the lady wrote, they offered it and she accepted but later felt it was more like a sales pitch so that they can charge for it.If memory serves it was more of a hygiene scare. Parents were told that it could cause infections; plus it's something they to tack onto the ole' baby bill on the way out the hospital.
There's also the issue where all surgeries can go badly and result in permanent consequences for the patient. The John Money fiasco which started the whole troon movement was caused by a goofed circumcision. It's more common than you might think.and it probably does cause some psychological damage but I think most dudes grow out of it.
I'm sure he only noticed when he saw an intactivist for the first time. Probably on reddit. My question is, how the fuck did he go through however the fuck many years of life without ever once seeing a doctor about his phantom foreskin pain? Like it wasn't a major issue until he had sex and now all of a sudden he's ~traumatized~? Botched circs happen, the risks outweigh whatever "rewards", but this guy just sounds like a whiny faggot. Internet's desensitized me to too many whiny faggots with made up problems it's hard to tell them from the whiny faggots with actual problems.
The guy who invented modern non-religious circumcision was a Progressive Era quack.the only people who like circumcision are jews and republicans so this makes sense
More common complications than a truly botched job is keloid scarring and otherwise unaesthetic ones that actually make the thing look pretty bad. I'm just really thankful I didn't inherit keloid scarring from the parent who has it and will admit that while I think child circumcision is wrong, I do think my dick looks nicer for it. Probably wouldn't have it done given the choice though. There's also the issue where all surgeries can go badly and result in permanent consequences for the patient. idk what you mean by that, dude was a seventh day adventist, hard, which led to the fierce anti-masturbation stance. Only after that was it picked up for "cosmetic" reasons.
