MAP/NOMAP community, which stands for "minor-attracted person" and "non-offending minor-attracted person", is a group made up of people who think being attracted to children is a totally normal thing. They campaign for empathy and acceptance of people who are attracted to children of any age, be it babies, teens or prepubescents. They believe that being sexually attracted to children who cannot provide proper consent is not a paraphilia, but rather an valid sexual orientation, like hetero/homosexuality.





Despite calling themselves MAPs, they will also wear their well-deserved "pedophile" status as a badge of honor. Their enablers and "allies" are not helping either.




Despite that, they will get extremely anal with you if you call somebody a pedophile, because their common belief is that "pedophile" is not a blanket term for people sexually attracted to underage kids. They explicitly differentiate between various kinds of "sexualities", such as ephebophilia (attraction to late adolescents), hebephilia (early adolescents), pedophiles (pre-pubescent children) and infantophilia (infants/toddlers).



Interestingly enough, if you think these people only consist of ugly fat men, then you are very much wrong. The MAP community is extremely diverse and includes women as well.



And not just any women, but teenage women too!




MAP community appeared seemingly out of nowhere and started to grow in popularity very recently, somewhere around 2016/2017. As with any degeneracy, one of the most relevant places for MAPs was, of course, tumblr. Tumblr had a MAP problem SO large (just go here and look at all these names, Jesus!) they seemingly had to take action against it. At this point in time Twitter is one of the best places to observe MAPs in their natural habitat by checking any related hashtags, such as #MAP, #NOMAP, #MAPpositivity, etc.

Common terms you will see when browsing through the posts of self-proclaimed MAPs and their allies:

• MAP - "minor-attracted person," someone who is romantically or sexually attracted to underage children.
• NOMAP - "non-offending minor-attracted person," a MAP who claims to not have come in contact with children sexually.
• Exclusive - a MAP who's attracted exclusively to minors.
• Non-exclusive - a MAP who's attracted to minors and adults alike.
• Antis - people who stand against everything MAPs hold dear AKA sensible people.
