It is funny that he shits on animu styles, because he completely misses the fact that good artist know exactly what they are leaving out when they are drawing in simplified styles. He wants to draw swole animal people in simplified styles and is at a road block that so many teenage artist on deviantart have encountered, wanting to have a "style" before they even know how to draw properly. He has demonstrated he no idea what the underlying bone structure or any muscle really, even looks like. All his poses are rigid, static, uninspired and perhaps worst of all, his art is all just SUPER fucking boring because he just wants to draw fap fodder and doesn't know how to compose a scene.
And a terrible one at that. It's just like @John Furrman pointed out. Fucker's got no idea how anatomy, bone structure and simplification work. His faces look like an ungodly mishmash between overly cluttered and melting off the bone. And his bodies, when not looking all stiff, look broken and painful. Speaking as someone who's been through trial and error with this sort of thing, it's not easy (far from). But Mappy's apparently in his thirties (if the 1983 on his Facebook is any indication) and his art looks like something a pre-teen would make.
