Marat, better known by his online pseudonym Narrator, has made a few waves online recently. Despite nearly 40,000 subscribers on YouTube and 8,000 followers on Twitter, Narrator is by all accounts a failed e-celeb, with his posts and content rarely getting any attention. This is not for a lack of trying. Throughout the years he has made many attempts at e-fame, from leeching off the names of larger YouTubers to farming interactions off hot takes on Twitter.

Even his username was a desperate attempt to cash in on the general term "Narrator", which didn't pan out the way he wanted it to.



Drama-whoring​

Some of you may recognize him from the Apollo Legend thread, where he posted a tweet disavowing Apollo's suicide before his death had even been confirmed.

But recently, what most people know him for is his hour-long video about his experience with CallMeCarson. Titled "My Experience with CallMeCarson," one would expect it to be about issues relevant to what was being discussed. But Narrator's experience with Carson has no relation to issues of grooming. Narrator saw public opinion turning against Carson and saw it as chance to air out dirty laundry.

Narrator states that they suffer from BPD (borderline personality disorder), which often led to previously undiagnosed frequent manic episodes. They say that on the podcast, they would often have legitimate manic episodes/panic attacks that Carson treated as a bit, despite even RaccoonEggs picking up on the fact that they were not joking around whatsoever. They cite several incidents, primarily including VidCon 2018, where Carson made fun of their manic episodes, poked and prodded them, saying stuff like “what, are you gonna cry? You look mad.” Specifically during the VidCon trip while in their motel, this came to a heat, as Narrator’s episodes were more severe due to the increasingly stressful situations. Because of this, Narrator describes an incident involving Altrive where they became so angry they attempted to get physical, and ended up punching a wall in their motel, an event which they very publicly apologized for.

They described this as Carson always being “on,” no matter the severity of any situation, making him extremely difficult to work with. In several incidents (with proof), Carson would hijack the podcast’s official Twitter, YouTube, etc. After being told repeatedly by Narrator (or even Raccoon) to send the password because what he was doing wasn’t funny, he would continue to make jokes. Narrator said that this behavior extended to almost all of Carson’s interactions, making him impossible to work with, have serious conversations with, etc.

Sometime after the VidCon2018 trip, Carson said privately that he wanted to kick Narrator out of the podcast, despite Narrator being the literal creator and owner. Narrator and Racc disagreed with him, so Carson decided he wanted to end the podcast all together. Everyone decided they were okay with this, and they began discussing how to announce the ending of the podcast with some sort of joke or send off. Narrator describes that, while on a call with Raccoon about this very topic, they received a notification that Carson had uploaded a video on the official SCP channel, without their permission, saying that the podcast had ended. With this video now sitting at nearly half a million views, it is his most successful clout chase yet. Narrator talks about a podcast he did with Carson called "Solitary Confinement" before it disbanded in 2018. Because the bandwagon was in full effect, everyone took Narrator at his word that Carson was in the wrong, and began asking themselves why they'd never heard of Narrator before.

Unfortunately for Narrator, this kind of drama whoring is a double-edge sword.

Diaper play & vore fetish​

Following his successful video against Carson, multiple people have come out with allegations against Narrator himself for inappropriately messaging minors. The first call out thread was posted on January 4th, 2021 by a user named "@fishySalt_". They interacted with Narrator when they were fourteen.

I also recall a chat in which the server (including me as I didn't know better at the time) would tease Narrator for "being into diapers" in which we sent images of different diaper brands and called them a baby.

Their post details how they'd force their fetishes on everyone in their Discord. These fetishes include vore and diaper play, which he would post to a Furaffinity account called "tsunderefurry". Unfortunately this was deleted before it could be archived.

Grooming allegations​

The second post would be a google document released on January 14th, alleging Narrator to have "repeatedly sexted minors, among other things". This document would contain multiple accusations, and is worth reading through for a better understanding of the situation. It is thirty-seven pages long, and can be read here. I'll provide a summary of the allegations below.

The first alleger claims that Narrator engaged in sexual roleplay with him when he was thirteen, and Narrator was eighteen. He would send the thirteen year-old boy photos of his sex toys, as well as him posing with them. The only evidence provided for this so far are photos showing that their conversations were weirdly lewd, but no smoking gun.

Narrator does have tweets from that time claiming he loved him "like a little brother", while encouraging art shipping them together. He'd even jokingly say they were dating publicly. But if he was ever confronted on the age gap, he would delete the tweet.

Their interactions ended coincidentally around when Narrator was publicly called out for tweeting an image of their ass they took while wearing women's underwear to a fifteen year-old.

The document concludes with this:
In summary, Narrator is a bad person. Repeated inappropriate sexual conversations over the internet with minors, full well knowing their ages, and then trying to downplay or cover it up. I’m not particularly sure what else to write, but the evidence is damning. Also, using someone else’s awful situation to boost your own status both morally and socially is disgustingly hypocritical when you’ve done things that are infinitely worse.
As a side note, you may notice by now that Narrator only seems to take action whenever directly faced with being exposed. Whether it’s deleting a tweet because an age gap is pointed out, or cutting off a strange sexual relationship with that same minor because they (allegedly) sent their ass to a different minor and were at risk of being cancelled, it seems assured destruction is the only thing that causes Narrator to “be responsible”.

As I write this, Narrator claims to be working on a response to the document, which he'll be doing on a livestream. Whether or not he'll be able to debunk these allegations is yet to be seen. Regardless, from his constant drama whoring, fire stoking and interest in fetishes like diaper play this is going to be far from his last drama. And it will be interesting to see his response to what appear to be pretty clear evidence.
