Can anyone explain why Hogg's face is so unsettling? Like, there are quite many people with some uncanny mugs - Zuckeberg and P Joseph Watson are good examples but they're hilarious in hindsight with goofy grins and plump lips, but Hogg? He looks like a psycho killer robot waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Im just laughing at the fact that they had Miley Cyrus come and sing for the rally. I mean I know she changed but its still a bit funny having her there. I felt that the people there were more interested in her singing than the rally itself.

It's the eyes, and the set of his eyebrows. It gives him a look of intensity as a default expression, which is unnerving in any context outside of, well, intense concentration or emotion. It suggests that there's something unbalanced behind that face, something missing that would mitigate any threat he might pose--compassion, perhaps, or just the ability to back off the emotions and get a cooler-headed perspective.
Whether it's true or not, that's the first impression he gives.

In one city, the public school system doesn't have enough money to pay for heating and air conditioning appropriate for children in schools but the mayor raised money to send the kids on a bus to DC to the march. This particular march.
Also a lot of these kids are being manipulated by politicians because they can use the kids to spin things for the public to increase support for their own agenda.
Further these kids often don't even understand the Constitution and the Amendments and the Rights and the reason for their rights yet they're in there arguing for a bunch of adults to be stripped of Rights that they don't even have the knowledge or experience to understand.
Hogg, for example, is complaining about clear bags when the Courts have already long held students do not have the same privacy rights or rights against search while in school. But he's being treated as a source of reliable information on this. They're doing serious damage to the Constitution, they are largely ignorant of the law, so their victim status does not protect them, in my opinion, from a bit of mocking and criticism.
BLM is already really pissed off. There are posts all over social media saying that everyone's paying attention to the Florida situation and marching on Washington because those are white people and it's clear now we are on our own but we are enough on their own etc etc. It's b*******. Essentially black lives matter people are pissed off at someone else is getting some attention and they're calling it racist and they're saying that it indicates their allies aren't really allies and care more about white people don't really care about their struggle.
