"The Marvels" makes it sound like a kids movie, and considering how that's pretty much how the first one was it seems like they're trying to make Carol more of a kids/family franchise like Ant Man than going the Iron Man/Captain America route.

tbh I'm not terribly upset over this or that axed Spider-Man cameo. It doesn't hurt to keep these shows as their own thing, particularly now that people are starting to complain "Are the movies just all crossovers now?!". None of these movies look remotely interesting to me. Aside from F4, none of these characters is as popular as the original Avengers. At least reboot the X-Men or something. All these people are so irrelevant.

Also, Dr. Strange ain't some sort of "white man", he's the Sorcerer Supreme. Honestly, the one who could carry the whole new phase forward could be only him. Not only is Benadryl Cucumber probably the best actor of the bunch, his movie is solid and he's a link with the previous phases. The franchise needs a sane man to carry the rest. Good luck giving that role to, dunno, Carol, lol.
