Has anyone here seen this film? It's a clay animation about pen pals. The reason I'm posting this here is because Max, one of the protagonists, has Aspergers. The movie talks about a lot of the symptoms - such as not recognizing facial features, social awkwardness, etc in a very didactic and refreshing manner. I was re-watching it these days, and yes, it got me thinking about Chris Chan (I had never heard about CWC the first time I watched it). It would be very interesting if Chris could see it. I think he'd identify a lot with it (if only he could grow out of his silly "Aspergers stealing the limelight from autism" shtick).
But the unique thing about this movie - for me, at least - it's the way the director deals with subjects such as mental illness, depression, loneliness, death and suicide; it has a lot of dark humour but at the same time, yeah, it's kinda sweet and redeeming.
Anyway, it's worth a watch. I also noticed that some people in this forum are on the autism/Aspergers spectrum, so maybe you guys could be interested in it, or have seen it before and have something to say about it. I dunno.
