I can't believe no one has made a thread for this show yet, a uncut diamond in the gay wasteland that is comedy podcasts. The format is completely unoriginal, two guys engaged in bro talk with an occasional third guest, but Shane and Matt make it interesting by totally committing to the bit, talking utter shit as if nobody - parents, girlfriends, siblings, future employers, future hate speech enforcers - could possibly be listening.

If you recognize Shane Gillis, he's the guy that got fired from SNL for making an offensive joke on the podcast. He's also the funniest guy off the cuff that I've ever heard. The Red Sox had the curse of the Bambino and SNL now has the curse of the Bull. They will not be funny for the next hundred years.

I'm going to try and assemble a bunch of funny clips from the podcast and post them in this thread. There's a lot of content behind their patreon paywall. They basically tape a double show every week and put the back half up for patrons only, I might try and pull a few short clips of that too.

Don't start listening to the podcast from the latest episode, it was filmed at a comedy club and is a bit of a dud in my opinion.

Glad to see someone else who appreciates the DAWGZ.

Also the channel Radio Dawgz uploads essentially everything McCusker or Gillis have ever put on the internet, including a bunch of patreon episodes, but I don't believe he uploads current ones. Their patreon is also the only patreon I pay for (and WAR MODE) because it's only a dollar and they don't do gay ad reads either which is the cancer killing comedy podcasts.

I only know Gillis from him guesting on The Bonfire on Sirius but he is a funny motherfucker.

SNL clearly did no real research into him before the "scandal" other than making a list of hot New York comics and picking him off of it. He'll routinely describe things as "gay as fuck" and he openly talks about how he thinks bullying in hilarious. He's like Mark Normand insofar as he seems uncancellable because he genuinely doesn't give a fuck about what happens to his career.

I' really have to get around to listening to the podcast but i have so much stuff i already listen to that it's hard to fit in another one.

Not to powerlevel but I was in Tampa this weekend and saw Shane live on the mike and it was well worth it. Spent the first 15 minutes talking shit about the south and how they didn't like black people until they realized they were good at football, had everybody dying. He even did a couple of tranny jokes that 99.9% of comedians would never even attempt. I had tears in my eyes through 2/3rds of the set from laughing so hard.

Tim Dillon actually takes ad reads and makes them hilarious by just riffing on the ridiculousness of the bonerpill and manscaping products. It's probably also more effective than a straight ad read honestly.
