Yeah, he's working on an app but from what I've been told, it's basically his website in mobile form so it's just using youtube as the backend for hosting videos. The legal issues have bankrupt him and his parents so he's stopped exploring essentially, trying to move onto making money off of using other peoples' videos.

I think that's where like 70% of his following come from. Before the falling out happened, they seemed pretty close. Even on Matt's own IMDB he credits himself as a production manager for Jake's documentary. I'm still kind of surprised BSF hasn't taken down any previous content with Matt like Defunctland did.

I'm surprised more people haven't talked about him online, his content would make great clickbait for those shitty reaction channels at the least. Frankly, I don't see him making a comeback before the end of summer. He's been laying pretty low, no activity on IG or YouTube since May. Last public tweet in early July, no interaction on his website since May. I feel like around September/October, is when we'll start hearing from him again. Even if he was planning on making his popular theme park content, I'm sure that Disney, Universal and other Central FL theme parks that've reopened are already on the lookout for him and people like him trying to take advantage of lowered staff due to Covid. I believe his old 'wacky adventures' are done and he's trying to transition to becoming a storytime/vlogging content creator while trying to market his channel as a 'host' for other explorers. All his recent videos have that disclaimer encouraging people to send in "backstage theme park content".

People don’t talk about him because nearly all of his videos feature footage of a crime, namely felony trespassing. And while some people talk about him, most don’t want to risk their channel monetization on this.
