Why does every YouTuber feel the need to live in something this exorbitant? Maybe I'm just weird, but if I suddenly came into a huge amount of money I wouldn't want to live in a giant McMansion. I'd much rather have a fairly modest sized house that met my basic needs and then stash the rest of the cash.

Edit: Is he still doing the "my closet is my recording booth" larp? There's no way in something this ridiculously large you can't make one of the rooms a proper studio.

For Youtubers I'd guess it's probably the idea of making their own career, to the point they can just afford a mansion (just like da ebic keanu chungus wholesome celebrities), and that gives the ego a massive boost.
