Nobody's said it yet, so I'm just gonna say it; One of the funniest things about Matthew's attempts to reinvent himself as "Spark the Dalmatian" is that he never took the ten seconds to google that fursona name to make sure there weren't any other notable furries already using it. Because 1) there already is, and 2) they're a babyfur who has been arrested twice. The first arrest was for child molesting, and the second for child porn possession.

He literally could not have picked worse things to impersonate. So just to reiterate, not only did Matthew spend thousands to impersonate another furry's suit, but he then chose the same name as a sex offender Dalmatian with multiple convictions. That Wikifur page I linked is literally the first google result for Spark the Dalmatian, meaning there is absolutely no way Matthew could not have known about this.

The resemblance is uncanny. Not just because they're both Dalmatian characters, but because they both absolutely should never be around children. While I don't have hard proof that Matthew did anything inappropriate with kids (yet), I would say that given his incredibly creepy behavior with the original owner of the Patch suit (whom he knew was underage), as well as the fact that nearly all of Matthew's exes were 18-20 years old (at the time he asked them out), I wouldn't be shocked if he tried to at some point.

My best guess is that Matthew's logic is "Spark" was generic enough so he could lay low among furries without raising too much suspicion, and handwave anything about his past being brought up as "oh, that's not me, that's just some other dalmatian named Spark."

And to be honest, he might have been able to get away with it if he hadn't already drawn a shitload of attention to himself beforehand, especially since fursuits based on canines (dogs, foxes, wolves, etc) are so incredibly prevalent. With Dalmatians specifically, he could even potentially steal other people's art using the flimsy excuse of "well the artist didn't draw my spots EXACTLY spot-on, but it's totally me."

Considering Matthew is already known to have bought at least one piece of yiff of his character, I wouldn't be shocked if he looked up other dalmatian art and tried to do just that. Hell, knowing him, he could do the very reverse and claim his yiff is actually of Patch and not him, but that's just getting into weird theory territory without concrete evidence behind it.

Matthew apparently hung out with some fursuiter who tweeted a photo of them together. When the tweet eventually caught the attention of Patch and Tripp, it was promptly deleted, but not before I archived it:

Now, more importantly, a friend of Tripp's made a post on Twitter talking about Matthew and tried to bring awareness to him. They were then contacted through DM by a woman who claims that Matthew tried to entice her teenage son to live with him, and it only gets more bizarre from there.

I have these screens censored at the request of both the person who leaked them and the woman who contacted them. However, I can personally verify both accounts are legitimate and the woman's account is indeed a professional account as she claims (if any mods want to verify these are legitimate privately, please feel free to reach out).

So let's summarize:
-Matthew talked to this woman's teenage son and tried to entice them to move in with him. She googles Matthew and presumably finds this thread.
-The woman gets her husband (who is apparently an ex-cop) to go to Matthew's house, finds out there are already two other teenagers living there, both 17. He takes both of them back to their parents. Matthew apparently cowered in a corner the whole time and kept saying "I'm 24!".
-One of the teenagers claimed he paid Matthew rent to live there.
-The woman reported that Matthew was illegally subletting teenagers to Matthew's rental office. The people there reveal they've been trying to evict Matthew for months now and are thankful this information would speed things up.
-There was very little in the way of text conversations between Matthew and the teenager. It seems as though Matthew would either call or meet him IRL in order to avoid not having records of anything that was said.
-Her son apparently met Matthew through a mutual friend, and they were apparently all in the same furry chat. (I have no idea which furry chat, but I do know Matthew has been banned from all the "main" Pennsylvania furry chats).
-Her son is familiar with all of Matthew's alts: Nitro, Cyder, and Spark.
-One of the kids evicted was told by their parents they were not welcome back at their place. It's safe to assume that Matthew preys on furries who are in tough living situations in order to ensure they won't leave.


While this chat was dated June 8th, I was not aware of it until today. I asked the leaker today if they would contact the woman again and provide an update on if anything happened since then, and was sent this:

This thread started off kind of funny, it was just him being extremely exceptional (well, not funny due to the sheer number of people left in Matthew’s wake of terror and destruction) but it was like a lighthearted comedy of “what will the furry do next?” right up until it was discovered that he was preying on troubled minors.

God bless that woman for sending her husband over, and bless his heart for removing the other boys from him as well. I’m so glad she spoke up about it, everyone needs to know Matthew is an even bigger piece of shit than he was before (and that was hard to top, he literally scammed a charity).

As for Matthew himself, I think he’s losing it. He’s been in PLENTY of shitstorms before (see the ALS thing and the beef with the new dalmation fursuit owner) and yet he’s never had his MOM do his dirty work for him. He’s got nowhere to go now except maybe back to her place. He’s ticked off, I just know it. I hope he doesn’t do anything worse the next time we get an update.

I found a few more interesting comments on BBrackets Nitro video that reveal even more uncomfortable information. These aren't bombshells nearly as big as the "illegally subletting teenagers" stuff, but are worth mentioning:

In my timeline post (after the OP) I mentioned Matthew tried to sneak into another furmeet around March 2021, then fled once someone recognized him entering their Telegram chat. I left that specific update vague since I didn't have any real concrete evidence behind it, but I'm 99% sure this was the event.

So I can shine some more light on how this got going. The small Ohio meet was the WWFC that I was staff at for about 2-3 years roughly guessing until I left due to abusive behaviors from the staff became too much. Nitro worked as the AV support at the YMCA camp event ran by a man named Jacob or better known as Al Cobone, he was the AV support for the entirety of the events life up until 2020. The entire time I knew him he would talk to me about how he wanted to run his own con. I was pretty stoked for him at the time, I mean who gets an opportunity to run a con. By 2018 I was fairly chummy with him, chatting or venting about WWFC based stuff happening behind the scenes. He told me that at his con he would make sure none of that would happen and that I should work at his con instead. I was tempted to join staff for him despite the con being a whopping 10-12 hour drive for me. Thats how fed up I was with the camp me and him staffed at the time and he knew it too. In late 2019 he approached me (I did stand up for the camp) and made me an offer of a free room (on him) and to be an honored guest at CCFC. He told me I could have my own featured slot to do my stand up (I was a little too ambitious at the time and thought of myself as hot shit honestly) so I was pretty excited, on top of the other panels he promised me. I wanted to famous in the fandom and I guess he saw that. I was pretty much ready to jump ship and attend his con until I found out that he had also asked Hund the Hound and Cabone, and I think a few others who were staffed at the WWFC.
I declined after hearing that he had asked Hund (another staff member who had put attendees health at risk, even the night before Nitro approached me and Hunds constant verbal abuse towards staff.)
Then after the WWFC had concluded for 2019, it had came out that about 3-4 grand was stolen and the camp event was in the hole.
Of course I had Hund ask me for money to pay the fees again and I questioned why, he said "Idk, Nitro was in charge of the money"
As it turns out, Nitro had stolen the huge amount of money to put into his own con just a few months later in January.
Idk if direct action was taken because the chairman kept it underwraps while as Hund went to the Kiwi Forums.
The money was never returned and from what I hear the WWFC are still reeling from the devastating blow because that money was to go back into the YMCA to pay for the event there.

EDIT: So I also wanted to squeeze this in on Nitro asking literally everyone to be a guest at his con. He bothered everyone in my friend group and looking back it was an obvious scam. When I started doing my stand up, I was good sure but not amazing, good enough to have a small panel but not good enough to be an honored guest. He also would dm me and be flirtatious af after winning a fursuit from Furreality for an auction. I guess that also sweetened the pot for him when he made the offer to me since I only had that fursuit for maybe a year or so when he approached me. Take it with a grain of salt, I wanted to squeeze in my two cents and when I worked with him at the small Ohio based event.

So this is really interesting. If you've read the CCFC OP I wrote a while back, this segment is near the beginning:

According to a former friend of Nitro, he started the event purely as a vanity event in the hopes that people would see it as "his" event, much like how people associate Anthrocon with Uncle Kage or FurAffinity with Dragoneer. Nitro’s only prior experience with running events was volunteering at a furry meetup somewhere in Ohio. Several people familiar with the event have alleged Nitro siphoned money from that event to fund CCFC, but I don't have legitimate evidence to back that up.

This testimony adds a ton of legitimacy to the theory that Matthew stole money from another event to fund CCFC, and now we know it was World Wild Fur Camp. This is further supported by the fact that if you look at their website gallery (archive), Matthew's Nitro fursuit can be seen in several photos from the 2019 event:

It's also worth noting that the commenter claims the chairman tried to keep this under wraps, but a "Hund" (presumably the Hund the Hound on the photo watermarks) "went to the Kiwi Forums". Does anyone know if this was mentioned on the Farms, and where? The search is acting funny due to the recent KF downtime.
