And I mean, I don't think I need to say this but autistic weebs will watch like anything so his anime dubs don't even get views because they're especially good, you can find extremely unfunny abridged series still being made that'll get like 500k views just for being the first abridged series of a new anime. Like, I'm not gonna pretend like a large portion of video essays aren't explaining the movie like a pseudo-intellectual so really simple shit sounds super deep. A lot of these people care way more about sounding like a galaxy brain than the subject matter but some people seem to genuinely love the thing they're talking about and want to tell you why so everyone else can appreciate it like they do.
What are people supposed to do? Just not make videos talking about movies?
