Lmao I did not expect Phil to ever be mentioned by Nyanners of all people, she's in a realm of a completely different level of popularity compared to him.

It's nothing more than a slight jab at Phil's attitude towards dark souls, but I wonder if he feels hurt enough to bring this up on a pre steam, whether he brushes it off as some jealous comment or takes it in a completely negative light and say "her viewers are probably a bunch of no life haters who take anything out of context and spin it to make me look toxic" (guess which avenue Phil will choose).

I'm still fuckin' puzzled on how he got through Sekiro. Even guide reading I think the game does have some skill required. Is it one of those games that gets easier the farther in you go? Because I love the Souls game and can play them with my hands tied but Sekiro I cannot get into at all.

Personally I thought Sword Saint Isshin was very challenging. I've beaten every Souls game and he was significantly tougher for me than any of the other final bosses.

Did he get handholded a lot when he played Nioh? (Or Nioh 2 even) That game has some brutal enemies and a lot of bosses can be extremely tough and/or frustrating, way more so then the Souls games imo.

I'm guessing Phil probably cheesed the game with exploits and summoned people (like he normally does in these sorts of games).

Did he get handholded a lot when he played Nioh? (Or Nioh 2 even) That game has some brutal enemies and a lot of bosses can be extremely tough and/or frustrating, way more so then the Souls games imo.

I'm guessing Phil probably cheesed the game with exploits and summoned people (like he normally does in these sorts of games).

He didn't summon anyone but he used the most low-effort cheese build to beat NG with, which is sloth+lightning talisman. He also played the games like Dark Souls, by which I mean that he rarely used any active skills like you're supposed to which is what sets Nioh apart, he beat the entirety of the first game with the strong attack string in mid stance spear (hence MidStancePhil). In Nioh 2, he used the switchglaive and he tried switching stances a bit but soon reverted to autopiloting by just doing the 2 basic attack strings in high stance over and over.

He ragequit the first Nioh's DLC, he got spanked by Date Masamune over 40 times before throwing in the towel. He didn't even attempt it in Nioh 2, but my guess is that he'd ragequit at Minamoto no Yoshitsune since he's fast and is immune to all elements except for purity so he can't be electrified with lightning and it's hard to hit him with sloth since he zips around so fast.
