That is true, but these people are judging based on some stupid graphics that nobody cares about.

fans are caring about it, I don't think fans constitute of "nobody".
they are pissed because of lack of artistic consistency, (even though 7 was on the SNES and 8 was on PS1 with it's infamous fmv anime cut scenes). 9 and 10 came back as 8-bit games, so fans expected it to stay that way instead of going 2.5D that brings back horrible memories of Mighty Number 9.

You know what, that is a good point. I can kinda see what you mean. I have always enjoyed the psx outings of megaman and megaman x more, so I like this art style.

What I will bitch about is if the boss themes aren't catchy.

Music makes a game for me, I played the shit out of "Space Invaders extreme" and even paid $80 for a Japan import cd.

The only thing by now that i have found weird is that in the trailer,Megaman has some kind of "Burst Mode" that apparently boost his powers up (in the trailer he is killing a mid boss with it), i suppose this is going to replace the Super Adaptor

When UMVC3 was announced people bitched that Strider Hiryu and Phoenix Wright got in the game after begging and a community vote respectively.
When Monster Hunter came to the 3DS people bitched because it was on the 3DS. No other reason.
When Street Fighter V's first pack of DLC characters had all veterans, including TWO CHARACTERS people had been BEGGING to come back including the "NEW" face of Street Fighter, Alex, people bitched because they weren't new characters.
Guess what people did with the Season 2 DLC characters?

Capcom fans cannot be satiated. It's like Nintendo fans. They get what they wanted but suddenly they act like it's the worst thing ever.

3D animation is practically what most games are going for these days including in fighting games entirely to promote more of the ease of development when working with games such as Megaman.
