The latter sounds much, much better than the former. Oh no retards who are in denial/didn't do their research won't buy your game...! Compare that to actually supporting a pedophile in your product and turning off basically a majority of people.

it all depends on the TOS they set up, if it says "we have the absolute right of refunding your money and deleting your character if you turn out to be a pedophile" or something similar then there should be no issue, if they didn't then they are stupid because that's like 101 of fans self inserts, its always the pedos that pay absurd money to get their sonas in

unfortunately, as far as glips role goes in the indie game, you’re required to give them litter (the games collectible aside from gifts) to buy furniture from them and 100% the game. Glip is also the only character to sell anything that can play music, so theyre about as important as the other 2 shop keeps are
I’d just prefer if they took away the role they gave the kid diddler and let them fade into obscurity if they HAVE to stay in the game

I think glip felt a connection to the game with emotions representing colors or something and the community of animal people. Glip could have had something this successful if they didn't choose drama and porn. It feels like a "Please remember me" donation.

In any case the backlash would be far worse if they just keep the character in the game. One thing is being called a scammer (which they would completely avoid if they refund) by a known groomer and another is to associate with them. Pick your cards wisely or they'll come back and bite your ass.

so sorry was a backer's self-insert boss in undertale, people found out that the backer that so sorry belongs to was into inflation, and the character was their fetish sona

If they remove her from the game, they'll first need to design a replacement, write it new dialogue and be forward about why the character was removed in the first place. I guess we'll see in the next few weeks if they'll listen to reason and remove a dog fucking pedophile from their game or just ignore it. Most people playing the game will have no idea it's anyone's OC, though, and dragging themselves into Glip's gross drama could do more harm than good.

Who knows what will happen. Nothing, probably.

Yes. I had to dig for a bit to find them talking publicly, but Samael participates in Floraverse. Glip has always made feeder art, so of course he would wriggle his way in there.



I don't think anything will come of the Chicory character. I haven't seen anyone mention the game besides Eevee, so I don't think it will explode in the dev's faces like So Sorry did for Undertale.
