Literally started by a prominent mossad member who also did work in the intelligence branch of the IDF. All the people on their directors board are former intelligence officers or diplomats for Canada or America or are neocons who specialize in "cultural war" or counter terrorism.
To speak on the quality of the translations, they're accurate from what I've heard from native arabic speakers but a lot of the time they cover parody, comedy, drama or shows with actors as if they're real. Part of the problem is Arabic is a very poetic language so the interpretation heavily varies. In the end, it's an attempt to portray the arab world as totally insane as to justify Israel as "the bastion of democracy and freedom" in the middle east. This is nothing but a mossad plot to manipulate people rather then be accurate at it's core.

The Jew hatred has spread to the rest of the Muslim world like Pakistan or Malaysia but racism gets in the way of unity there as well. Arabs see these other groups as subhumans and slaves, explains why the Kashmir issue and the Ryhongas or the Uyghers or Chechens never get talked about much.

There was a memri video I am trying to find where there is some angry egyption getting angry at morsi. Except they dubbed the subtitles with the guy talking shit about Islam. Can't seem to find it, probably got deleted I guess.

I really love when apologists try to claim Memri is just Zionist Propaganda. I mean it is Zionist Propaganda but if their translations were wrong to make Arabs look bad it would be very easy to debunk it. There's 422 Million Arabic Speakers after all, a significant portion must speak english.
