Um, what can I say about this? That it's one of the best RTSes I've played in a long time? That it carefully balances simulationist and gamey aspects of gameplay?

It's a World War II game with basic gameplay precepts like Company of Heroes, but even more complex.

But seriously, fuck MoW's inventory system. They've had so many games and actually rearming your soldiers in combat is still a fucking pain that costs me battles.

I generally don't have to reload until after fights because I'm awfully conservative with how I use ammunition due to how I play - sorta infiltration tactics meet blitzkrieg. However, the best way in my opinion, if you're starving for ammo, is to just arm your dudes with weapons they pick up and keep shooting.

My personal pet peeve is the use of the Panzerfaust within small-squad vs tank fights. You have to either flank the tank successfully and not be detected in the process, or run out into the open with the possibility of wasting the 'Faust and potentially the entire squad if your opponent's reflexes are quick enough.
