So I am looking to aquire some silver. Whats a good place for it? I am naturally suspicious of pretty much every website on the internet.

I've bought from Golden Eagle and Apmex. Golden Eagle is my jam. They have good sales and the lowest price on Washington Quarters. Easy to deal with too.

I highly recommend getting a PO Box for delivery. Some online places won't deliver to them, but GE does. Far better than some UPS guy tossing a box of $2k worth of gold and silver on my porch.

Not gonna lie, I feel like most of the paranoia over ebay shopping boils down to people not checking over the sale listing or seller enough combined with prior FUD from the feds about chinese fakes. From my experience anything truly fake is automatically blocked from access by ebay (eg. $15 10oz slabs, those listings have been in search results for ages but they get redirected to a 404 forcibly), and the listings that use stock-y images are either ones that sit for months untouched or are from actual reputable bullion outlets that have been on ebay for 20+ years. With paid dilligence you can get small bits of silver here and there for cheaper than by going through JMB and the like, so it's a good outlet for people that want to stockpile slowly but steadily and don't want to fuck with eChecks just to lower the shipping costs, it just takes having a high perception stat.

Most likely because the Fed signaled a more aggressive tapering and rate rise schedule than was anticipated, diminishing inflation fears.

There is a global conspiracy to keep the silver price down despite shortages, retailers delay deliveries instead of increasing the prices etc. Anyone used to buying (larger) silver bars (not coins) irl will know this is true
