Nah, MGTOW is a symptom, not the cause of vunerable and jaded men. Modern society is really good at isolating people, especially the poorly adjusted and naturally those people will form cliques around their perceived issues.

For some of those cases, I don't know if there is a remedy. I've known a couple of people with severe socialization issues. No one bullied them. It's just, once you exchanged a few words with them, your brain told you something was way off and so over time, people stopped approaching. I went through a phase where I was convinced they just needed a friend but every conversation with them is so hard to keep going. A lot of them also have weird interests they focus on (in hindsight, probably undiagnosed autism). I just wouldn't recommend that normal people put their own sanity at risk trying to befriend them.

MGTOW is a group of the manosphere which instead of engaging in political activism instead opt to simply avoid women altogether.

Their two founders were stardusk (who is still quite active and somehow wants mgtow to become an area of serious academic study) and barbarossa (who seems to have moved on moreso)
They have a website mgtow.com which is extremely autistic and has a fairly small community rather distinct from the actual youtubers but likely overlapping in the audience of sandman
They have a much larger community on youtube with the main youtubers being sandman who is known for making short rage inducing videos (not really him raging but he appeals to the dumber mgtows) and Turd Flinging Monkey who has far more autistic pseudo intellectual videos which are less mgtow specific and closer to the alt right in general

The movement was bound to end up like the male version of feminism with zealots and fakers that subvert the movement. The MGTOW movement does have a point about women in this day and age but they undermine their own efforts by being utter soyfilled spergs that whine just as bad as their female counterpart. I would bet that if they defeated the feminazi's a year or two ago they would attempt to usher in the actual patriarchy feminists fear as they wouldn't just disband once their work is done.

It's exactly why no one should assume that the counter culture are better than their opposition bar exceptions.
