I saw a guy with a long-ass giraffe neck the other day when I was out and I was immediately reminded of this cretin. It was bizarrely interesting in the sense you get when looking at a midget or deformed person or other uncanny valley shit like that. It's hard to pick just a single thing out of this sluice of opinion excrement, but the "how can you be a lefty and support Brexit" is particularly dumb. The EU has rules that prevent state aid that many literally commie leftists would love to implement. That's why its a not so well kept secret that head of the Labour party Jeremy Corbyn is a Brexiteer - the EU would prevent many of the schemes he'd like to implement.
I don't know about the rest of that stuff, but I assume it's all equally ill-informed dogshit based on that one.

Specifically, the EU, as a regional actor somewhat like the WTO, blocks local protectionist policies that many workers in traditional economic activities, particularly producing regionally branded goods (think Parmigiano Reggiano or Parma Ham or anything with the name of a place i.e. a PDO or Protected Designation of Origin). Similarly, a lot of niche industries or manufactures benefit from local protectionist policies which the EU steps on.
This adds to the burden created by global trade organizations like the WTO. In a lot of cases this means those businesses cease to exist or shrink and the workers suffer.
Arguably, these kinds of businesses need to learn to compete better and economic efficiency dictates adapting or dying, but it's really a mixed bag and a lot of the things that go away in this kind of regime are high quality items that are replaced by shitty homogenous monoculture garbage.
In any event you could easily be left and pro-labor and anti-EU, especially the whole "import cheap labor from places that hate our guts to replace my job" kind of globalism. Or the even worse "import layabouts who do fucking nothing from places that hate our guts and then raise my taxes to pay for it" kind of globalism. Or both at once which is what the UK is getting and for some reason the people affected aren't happy about it.
