I've been on deviantArt for over ten years. I've seen shit, you all have definitely seen some shit, but this guy. I've been "checking up" on this guy for almost five years and in five years he's gotten steadily worse. This particular cow in question is called "Midnitez-Remix".

Now then, a slight history as to how I came across this guy:

• I've been apart of the Digimon fandom for years, on and off deviantArt.
• While participating in one of the many groups I'm in, this guy pops up with some ridiculous designs and shit. I will touch on this soon.
• He then, over a period of time up to now, joins a number of groups and either gets banned, kicked, or shadowbanned because of his art. This too, will be expanded on.
• From the span of 2011 to just last week, his art has gotten more graphic and sexually explicit. He is explicitly stated to tone down the art for the groups he's joining because there are a lot of people who are under the age of 18 and it's practically tasteless. With this comes point number one:

Midnitez has a very good and, for archival purposes, annoying habit of deleting everything on site when drama arises in even the slightest form. This isn't very good for him because thanks to the internet, nothing ever goes away and everything he does eventually pops back up in the form of a "rehash" or a "remake". He is by far, one of the edgiest cows I've ever had the unfortunate circumstance to talk to. He has the attitude of a volatile 5 year old when called out which is a shame. He can have some legitimately good designs like the following:

We all know by now that you can have any disability under the sun, but if you're an asshole, let's call a spade a spade. You can be autistic, slow, whatever. An asshole is an asshole. Back in around 2011- 2012 I had the "fortunate" pleasure of being shown this amazing journal (Archive). Now this is a stupid journal on it's own but this actually leads up to him getting mad at digimon fans who want to keep it tasteful for the younger fans. For those of you who don't know, Bandai's female digimon all have sexual themes on their online cards (Collectors, Crusaders, Jintrix). That's not something we in the digimon fandom would like to introduce to the younger fans.

What does our pal do? Calls the well meaning fans, purists! (Archive) Puritans to keep the minds off of sex! Restricting creative freedom to draw his Renamon ripoffs! Defending his oversexualized nightmares (pay attention to the comments) (Archive)

This Digimon was from years back and at the time it was just a sketch so I made a good copy. It was in the time where people lost their shit over seeing me making mature Digimon, so as a rebellious way to keep on it I made this and a few other mature Armor evolutions. This was the combination of the old version of my Seductivmon (kinda looked like midnitez-remix.deviantart.com/… ) combined with the Digimental of Love as you may have figured out. You may also have figured out that it is a play on the "Hooters" franchise; I thought that would be funny at the time.

Needless to say, after calling well meaning people purists and stifling his creativity to draw sexualized furry tier shit like the art above, he was immediately shitcanned from quite of a number of digimon groups. One thing you may have noticed about this cow, is the fact that he makes at least 2 journals a day kinda like a blog. I don't think he deletes journals but to be on the safe side, archiving them is highly recommended.

Now, I know you've been wondering about that /vp/ raid. One hot summer/fall evening in 2013, I happened to lurk /vp/ and came across this thread on, you guessed it, Midnitez! If you've visited his page, you've noticed a lot of his links are for "fan games". Screenshots of games that will probably never be completed. This is my third point:

We're almost done here, I hope you're still around and excuse me for any information that seems lacking. I've been trying to chronicle this guy for years and i deleted a lot of things by accident. Now, I have no idea when this game dev shit started but currently he has had well over 10 projects that ranged from Persona, to Pokemon, to Digimon, to even .hack and TWEWY. One look through his page and you can clearly see some decent screenshots of games. Now, I have no idea how these things work but I know some kiwis are very much into these types of things and can better explain. He claims to always work on these "projects" but other than some random screenshots, there's nothing to show for it. No true demos, no nothing other than sprite maps and sprites themselves.

So, /vp/ catches wind and using that wind, lights a fire under his entire gallery. And just my luck, there are two threads!

So it has been something that has taken a long time to get to, lots of time to figure out and better understand and accept my true self but here we are. So I am a Bisexual Lesbian and I know what you're thinking, you think someone can't be both. So because I am Genderfluid which makes me both male and female, by default I will always be bi because that's the technical way to explain it. But the fact of the matter is that whether I identify as male or female on each day, both of them only like women. It's hard to admit but it is true.

Ah, Midnitez. I come across his work a lot by other fakemon artists and undiscovered from time to time. Now I just see his art in cringe threads on /vp/ over his terrible design choices.

I remember liking a few of his designs and the fact that he has a lot of ideas for fan games, but the fact that he never finishes them and only adds more to his plate made me less interested in watching him as I felt he'd never finish with him constantly adding on (such as Nightmare and Celestite/Luminos-Dreams where he went around asking other fakemon artists if he could have permission to use their designs for the games).

Then I came across his tumblr designs and ideas such as BW3 protagonists and their parents, Gym Leader Roxie with a drug addict theme, trans Gold, an item that basically makes pokemon transgender, and a redesign of Bayleef because he doesn't know what Chikorita's line was originally based on, the latter telling me he likely doesn't care much about the original source and what makes a design good.

The way he also just goes overboard on sex appeal, gigantic melon tits and tumblr use of ethnicity/disability for the sake of making a design "unique" also pushed me away from getting into his work. That, and I believe he heavily traces some of his Persona portraits (his art style and designs also seems to wildly vary, which makes me think he's tracing most of his good designs).


Fucking ArmadaRevolmon though. Just how bad this design is speaks volumes of how Midnitez doesn't know how to design subtly. I know he's going for sex appeal, but he literally just tacked shit on without care and made it look like a complete mess.

All this other stuff though, I figured he was a lolcow. Didn't know he recently came out, I thought he already did since he claimed to simply be bisexual in a picture he posted of himself iirc.

That's the entire problem with his art. It's completely squandered on extremely fetishy crap to "stick it" to people who are repulsed or unhappy with it. Another problem I have with his stuff is that he doesn't realize that you know, if you placed this stuff off site like on FA where people would eat that shit up, he wouldn't be scrutinized in the way he is now.

The way he also just goes overboard on sex appeal, gigantic melon tits and tumblr use of ethnicity/disability for the sake of making a design "unique" also pushed me away from getting into his work. He mimics other art styles far too much so he can be "authentic". The fact that he doesn't draw or barely draws his own original projects that's not some edgy crossover or shitty ecchi game really makes you wonder if he has a personal style.

Yup. The original designer has a clear inflation fetish and has commissioned two FA artists to draw his fan digimon in full inflation form.

This fandom has the same weirdos as the pokemon fandom or any other huge fandom but the difference is that in a smaller fandom, the weirdos and the spergs are more noticeable. All of this is just to be more "mature" and stick it to the "safe" fans when you know that never works out well and makes you come off as either edgy, over the top, or both. The only reason those hyper sexual digimon even exist is because he's trying to make a statement and said statement just comes off as extremely immature and almost sexist to a degree.

He's done artwork and comics for OCTs (Original Character Tournaments) which is where i found him. He has a massive habit of starting a project and then doing another project while putting it to the side or making that secondary to the new project. He also gets over hyped over something and then peters out very early on.
