Around a week ago Mr Marenghi lost the ability to complete captchas. I have had to do it for him 3 times in the last few days. No other changes in personality or cognitive abilities. He's just suddenly unable to convince computers that he's not a robot. Do you think he's been replaced?

I was a kid playing with 2 of my cousins at night. I see something in the corner of my eye. I look at it, and it's a very big shadow in a hallway. 3 seconds later, the shadow appears to move into a nearby door.
I partly think it's my imagination, and I turn back to my cousins. They are staring wide eyed because they saw it too. We have no clue what it was or what to make of it.

It doesn't make sense that a shadow would've been there.

Had an empty coke can fly off the kitchen counter at me. About a year later we purchased a small animal trap for feral cats. Left the anti-roll stake (shaped like an allen wrench) on top of the same counter and had that come at me as I'm making my coffee, standing about a meter to the left, landed at my feet. The next day my roommate had moved it to a small table by the window and it "falls" again as I'm feeding her cats. All in broad daylight, first and last with witnesses. Very strange. Sometimes I swear I see a black and white cat going in and out of my bathroom.

The other night I woke up to the sound of something making a very slow scraping sound against the side of my house right under my window. Tried to look outside to see if it was a bear or something because this fucker sounded really big, but could not see a single thing out there. I swear when it stopped I heard these really rapid footsteps move away towards the little creek near my house, but I still couldn’t see anything despite the massive street light near my house.

Woke up with the biggest bee I've ever seen buzzing angrily against the (closed) windows. Inside my room. I'm not usually scared of bees but my room is tiny and waiting for it to calm down was possibly the most abject dread I have ever felt, which at least says something about my quality of life.

One night I encountered a large truck that appeared to be driving without anyone behind the steering wheel.

Turns out the driver was a negro so unbelievably deeply black, that you couldn't see him.
The black shirt contributed to the illusion. Spooky as fuck.

They should be required to wear reflectors or something.

Made me nervous that he might have a weapon on him and would attack me.

When I was a fairly young child, I would see a see-through, green, robed, phantom standing on the end of my bed while I was laying down. It was a very short 1-2 feet tall. I also saw it hovering in front of my parents bedroom window at full human size. My family has moved multiple houses since then and I haven't seen it since.

Not so much spooky, but something I can't explain. When I was about 12 and it was late at night when my mother and I were driving home. I recall looking up through the windshield at the sky and seeing a black disc silhouetted against the night sky with three lights forming a triangle on it. I don't believe in U.F.O.s and this was in the middle of south Salem, not the biggest or busiest part of town but definitely not a ghost town at night, so if it was something extraordinary I wouldn't of been the only one to see it.

I have no explanation for it though and to this day I sometimes wonder what it is.
