I don't think it is logistically possible. At least with how DC is constructed at present. Just think of the amount of portable shitters that would be needed for that. Transportation. Food. Shelter. It gets worse.

It would have to involve a massive effort of all levels of local and federal government to make it happen. Everyone. There is no way that happens because there is always someone out there to shit on (and make a buck from) ruining things. Hell, if I was driving down I-95 and whatever stupid shit they were doing in DC interrupted beltway traffic I'd be against it too. I'm working here. Pay my bills or get out of the way.

As far as I know, President Trump has already retweeted and posted videos of his actual supporters getting threatened, beat up, hosed down (literally), sucker punched and people with their families getting yelled and screamed at. Antifa members were already classified as a domestic terrorist group, while BLM gets away scot free having to (again) sucker punch and follow mainly older white people out of town.

All in all, this march is making me realize that U.S. politics needs to be replaced with cage matches, since most of these protests are something straight out of a South Park cartoon.

The difference here is twofold: One, the Tsar was rapidly bleeding power while those currently in power in America (let's call it "the system") are't. Russia just came out of several humiliating military defeats, was fresh off of the 1905 Revolution and the proceeding political violence, and had just launched itself unprepared into an incredibly unpopular war. "The system," on the other hand, is on a power high. Not only have they demonstrated their ability to fuck with the economy and people's daily lives with COVID, but they just performed a brilliantly race-bent reenactment of the Kristallnacht in the form of the George Floyd riots.
Two: The Bolsheviks had power, while the modern "right" doesn't. The Bolsheviks not only were backed by wealthy individuals in both Wall Street and Britain, but were also directly supported by Germany in an attempt to force Russia out of the war. The Bolsheviks also benefited by being the most powerful faction coming out of the February revolution, which was much more popular in the west than the Bolshevik cause. Now tell me, what power does the modern "right" have supporting them? The Koch brothers? Russia? Does having 50K followers on Dlive count as power?

So you have to wait until they lose a war or fuck up catastrophically in some other way and then pop out of your hiding hole to seize some position in the chaos, and just hope that the support base will magically be there when the time comes?
