Plaintiff Milo YIannopoulos is a dramacow journalist, blogger, and author that formerly was employed by Breitbart News. He wrote the book "Dangerous" that was supsposed to be published by Simon & Schuster, a publishing company that purportedly payed the man 250,000 dollars.

Back in February 2017, Simon & Schuster dropped his book and in July Yiannopoulos filed suit for 10 million.

The publisher's answer to Milo's complaint has been released by Jason Pinter and contains the publisher's issues with the books manuscript. See attached.

Not only does Yiannopolous allege that the company took their actions in bad faith, but that his editor also flirted with him on several occasions while the book was in production.

Though the entire answer is a scathing brutality, these are some good bits people highlighted on Twitter:

And no, S&S is not some pussy publisher that hates mean words. They published both Maddox's books and Dick Masterson's "Men are Better than Women", and are in fact the reason the two were introduced to each other.

I really fucking hate Milo and I'm glad he's going to get raped again

It's like that troll we thought was funny because people sperged at him, only for him to take things too serious and sperg out himself.

Fucking embarrassment.

That being said what ARE the standards for S&S to publish a book successfully anyhow?

I thought he had a pretty good case before I saw the shit S&S leaked. Now I think it's dodgy at best.

S&S also insisted on a clause letting them terminate the contract for market conditions according to one of the filings (the contract itself doesn't appear to be in there).

@AnOminous , is it breach of contract if they considered market conditions (within their rights) in deciding to fire Milo but claimed it was only due to low quality in the termination letter? Milo's case is on really thin ice if that's permissible.

If they actually had the sense to include such a clause in the contract, they have every right to invoke it. However, I still do think the issues about Milo being a fuckup in general should have been known to them in advance. It's not like it was some huge secret.

I do think the case is a lot dodgier than it was, though, especially if they really did already have editorial issues with Milo prior to the publicity blowup. I have suspicions that they might have backdated stuff, but no evidence of it whatsoever. I just don't trust litigants. They lie.

Can we get the full document this is from?

Here you go

https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=oFnPLAzKP9bcaSxOBF5jJw==

The attorneys just cite "irreconcilable differences" and refuse to give further details on grounds of attorney-client privilege.

They also ask that Milo be given 30 days to find substitute counsel, and S&S' attorneys have agreed to the delay:
