It's hard to imagine why so many gay dudes wanted to become priests in a religion that clearly thinks homosexuality is a sin unless they have ulterior motives. (Modern Christians might pretend otherwise, but the Bible clearly states that it is against God's law.)

I'm gonna be a pedantic autist about this: the word used in the bible to describe homosexuality isn't actually 'sin', it's 'abomination', the context being that as long as you find a wife, have kids, raise them right and lead a life that's free from sin then the lord doesn't care that much about your preferences. The problems, according to the bible, start occurring when you act on those urges, in whatever form that might be. In short, if you /are/ gay, then don't be a degenerate or a faggot; have some self control and the bible says you're golden. Of course, no-one fucking reads the bible anymore so they broadly don't know that this is the case, but there you go.

It's the troon who sees your interest in plague doctors and thinks it's a kink, because they have a leather mask fetish that they try to involve complete strangers with, married or otherwise.

I leave out the "L" because I've known lesbians who genuinely just want to have clean, healthy, happy, closed relationships without being bothered or bothering anyone else. I still have problems with some trends in their demographic, but what I've seen from them is not relevant here.

That's not entirely true.

“I tell you that anyone who looks on a woman with lust in his heart has already committed adultery.” Matthew 5:28. The sin is in the very desire, and the thought. One commits the sin upon having the desire. So if homosexuality actually is a sin, the mere desire itself consummates the sin.

By this view, every single one of us who has ever had a desire that would be sinful to satisfy is a sinner. And none of us has any right to judge anyone else other than for acts punishable by our secular authorities.
