Pepperidge farms remembers the outrage over how Dream's character was treating Tommy's character and saying that Dream's manipulating real minors and making Tommy act depressed and suicidal. Looks like it was real all along, and it's not just Dream too.Haven't seen anybody mention this yet, but Ranboo recently clarified what his boundaries are as a content creator. This definitely has to do with the TommyInnit situation that has been happening.
Here is what he wrote:
Can't help but feel bad for this kid. He seems like a genuinely good person but he has created a fanbase that he is terrified of. He streams for a couple hours each day everyday, it's ridiculous to not think he won't slip up once.
One another note, the Wilbur Soot and Tommy situation that happened on stream was one of the most disgustingly hypocritical things I've ever seen. Kid just turned 17 years old and only wants to make content, he never claimed to be a role model. Already he needs therapy as "tommy neg" has trended three times and one of his best friends (who is much older than him and has more experience with the internet) has the nerve to insinuate he is being entitled and selfish in front of 100k+ viewers. Wilbur has been very open about the fact that he struggles with mental health and Tommy has helped him through it, but apparently can not offer the same support when the tables are turned. Not to mention Wilbur left Twitter for the same reasons Tommy wants to, but for some reason wants to subject Tommy to the same issues that Twitter gave him. It really just seems that Wilbur threw Tommy under the bus to quickly get a few brownie points from the same social media he claims to loathe.
One last thing that happened recently is GeorgeNotFound "prank called" TommyInnit on stream and told him that Dream thinks the content he is making is bad and that he needs to step it up or he might get kicked off the DreamSMP. You can find the clip on YouTube I'm sure. George then proceeds to hang up without telling him its a prank while Sapnap and Quackity told him the prank he did wasn't funny. George claims to not know how prank calls work, and to his credit, does seem to feel regret. He immediately tries to call Tommy back but he does not answer.
Also, it's a crapshoot on if stans want these guys to educate themselves on things like race and LGBT or on made up mental illnesses that make you think you're Ranboo and Undertale characters.
