Q: Will you make voicebanks of other mcyters?
A: I had a lot of plans but I'm not that sure now. Didn't think my love for the fandom will die that soon lol. But who knows, I may try to make another one since I've already started something, but it really depends on my motivation.

Q: English Tommy voicebank?
A: I actually would like to try it. However, I'm afraid of that people (who never read titles and descriptions) will somehow confuse it with the real Tommy, which can bring troubles to him. So I'll probably make one just to test it, but I will not make full covers with him.

This video took me longer than previous ones. Not only because I made everything from scratch by myself, but also because I decided to not to overwork myself this time.

I'm not very satisfied with how this video turned out visually. I'm not used to work with vivid colors. And I also had to switch between my two PCs that have different color rendering so I had big troubles with contrast. I had to edit color correction a lot and it still sucks. But anyways. If I tried to make my works perfect, I wouldn't upload at all.

So here you go. Enjoy the music!

now to reiterate, the creator of these openly admits that tommy has no idea about this and comments on all three videos are disabled as well. they also say that they will not distribute this voicebank, though it's unclear if they're familiar with the legality behind this as it's illegal in several places to make and distribute a voicebank without the vocalist's permission to do so.

"You're a useless child" is about child abuse and the creator of that song, Kikuo, has made some extremely dark shit about that topic (including and up to things about child molestation) which makes him a controversial figure. Not something I would use a real person's voice for. I've seen there are animatics about Dream SMP and Tommy's character on there using that song. Maybe they think it's ok because THEIR interpretation of the music isn't about abuse, but the fandom doesn't seem like it'd let that slide.

Ok don't know if Hermitcraft is considered to be a part of MCYT or the larger minecraft community but there is a chance they could cement themselves as the former if things go badly.

For those who don't know Hermitcraft is probably the most popular smp after the DreamSMP with around 26 active members with a subscriber count ranging from 80k to 7 mil. The best way to describe the group is a family friendlier version of the DreamSMP, but like I said there are some problems that show up know and then

Fanbase Problems:
Although most members have an older fanbase on the account of either being more technically focused, being a legacy player, or both, some members have a decent amount of younger views watching them. Needless to say this is a potential powder keg for obvious reasons, but thankful nothing serious has happened. Aside from that there hasn't been to many instance of full on stan activity but there have been some close cases like when some members get dogpiled because some fans take the small little storylines they add too seriously (thankfully they seem to be decent at nipping that in the bud when to happens) or shipping members together which gets wired especially since some are already married with kids.

Drama:
There hasn't been anything big aside from the small flareup from the occasional storyline as mentioned, but there has been the shadow of one lurking for years thanks to its founder GenerikB. Generik left the server around 2012-2013 and essentially dumped all server maintenance and admin duty on a member who had little to no experience at the time. Around 2016 he tried to rejoin but was rejected which did cause a little drama but nothing to write about. And most recently when the server was reset to start a new season he announced he was rejoining them via twitch, which was quickly proven false but not before netting around $500 (when caught he claimed it was just a joke and was donating the money to some charity). There's a bit more that could be said like how he still owns the trademark and could bend the group over or how he might be the reason why Mindcrack imploded (old smp from 2012, might be worth a write up in itself). but I don't want to spam a overlong wall of text,

Relationship with DreamSMP:
So far interactions have been limited, but there has been an uptick in overlap in both the fans and members. So much so that some starting to wonder if members from the DreamSMP might jump ship and join Hermitcraft when their new season started, thankfully this didn't happen with only two new members joining, each with no relation to Dream or his "friends", but their are still a few who are worried that if only one person joins in the near future, Hermitcraft will effectively turn into DreamSMP 2.0.

So Guude ended having to take legal action (iirc something about trademark agreements) which he didn't exactly handle the best and ended up doing more harm then good. There's a few more reasons (specifically with regards to Generik) but that has no connection to any fans what so ever, I'll DM you or anyone else if they want to know a bit more.

Using my autism to say jinrikis (the act of making a sampled UTAUloid) are actually kind of common in anime and game fandoms, but there are people who make them from singers, speech software, or politicians as well. From what I've personally seen, the general consensus in the community about a jinriki is usually something along the lines of, "Yes, they are illegal, but I guess it's alright if they aren't sold or distributed to anyone."

I absolutely agree with the fact that using an actual child's voice for songs about child abuse is... really weird to say the least, but I also put a lot of the burden on Wilbur and Dream for making a good portion of Tommy's character mentally ill and abused, as I think these covers would be a lot less likely to exist if that foundation wasn't already laid out.
