Anyone know about what happened to SMPEarth? Apparently it was supposed to be even more plot/roleplay driven than DreamSMP but it imploded almost right out the gate. SMPEarth was a weird choice for a roleplay server because it already had a gimmick with the Earth map and being a faction based server. Also because there were a lot of well known youtubers who played on it for a stream or two, but also streamers that'd end up as part of the MCYT clique like Techno, Tommy, Tubbo, and Wilbur.

SMPEarth kind of just died down. That's about it, from what I hear it was only supposed to last a week or two according to Chip one of the server jannies. At least that's what I hear through the grape vine. As for the plot/RP aspect of SMP Earth, not exactly sure about that part to be honest.

To think that there's dream stans that are my age if not slightly older than me is probably one of the most horrifying thoughts I've ever had. God save us for no one else can.
