Was it worth the wheight lol

Misty received a bit of attention from the EMTs, ER, and a couple of days worth of pain meds. Her ceiling is most likely 8’ or 10’ so she was probably crawling after the rats in the attic and didn’t have enough time to break her fall with her ankles or wrists. She just plopped to the her dirty floor and was awarded an ace bandage for her efforts.

For us? Most definitely! God, we've been predicting this since 2017 and she revealed video of her ceiling with trash bags bulging right through it.

Now, she doesn't typically hoard garbage; her hoard is built up on her parents' hoard, which she dragged to her house after her parents both passed away. She then added her own thrift and dollar store goodies to it over the years, dragging tons of belongings into her small, falling down house. This all got covered with layers of grime and dust and all of it is piles of valueless nonsense. But it isn't usually, like, bags of old food and milk cartons and such.

But the attic is clearly filled with overtsuffed garbage bags that are spilling through the old, rotten insulation. So when Misty is up there shifting stuff around, that's what she's contending with.

It's honestly a miracle she hasn't fallen though sooner - she regularly described herself as shoving more of the downstairs hoard into boxes and hauling them into the attic (which is only accessible via her bedroom), thinking that this is what the social worker meant by getting rid of the hoard.

Sorry for bring up old news, but I've been playing catch up with the thread and I'm kinda confused over where her children are staying. Tricia is old enough to live on her own and Richard is with a foster family (I think?), but who is Aurora staying with? Is she staying with the same foster family as Richard or is she in the custody of someone else?

Tricia is around 23 now; last we knew she was in a group home - due to her autism - after being hit by her father and removed from his place by APS. Tricia is a fuckin badass who has never spoken to her mother since the day she turned 18. Given Misty's endless stalking and harassment of her, it's nigh on a miracle that Tricia's enforced the line.

Aurora is still 17. She lives in a foster placement; not the same as Richard's. She will continue to live there through her senior year of high school. Misty's parental rights to her have been terminated, but as we saw with Jani Schofield, she could always choose to return to her mother once she turns 18. We pray she is smarter than this.

Richard is around 13 and lives with someone who wishes to adopt him. Since he will have the longest time away from Misty's terrible home environment, he's safest from his mother.

Misty doxed her "boyfriend" Chris's apartment last week, outing him as being mentally disabled and in transitional housing for homeless/ junkie / SPED / mentally ill vets. Chris himself is just a shade above total tard, and has been living in this "transitional" housing for over a year. Hell, Misty even agreed with us that he straight up looks slow.

But now she's embarrassed, so she's lashing out at her estranged sister for it. And don't you try and steal her precious beanie baby and barbie collections, Kiwis! She's got hidden cameras EVERYWHERE!

It's a toss up whether she went to hospital or not.

She certainly loves pill seeking, and medical attention. But on the other hand, she's (rightfully) afraid that the authorities will report her extremely dangerous living conditions; if she says she lives alone and fell through her ceiling chasing a rat or a mouse, the doctors might report her to APS.

I'm of a mind that Misty probably sought some sort of medical help - and her addict church group's help - because that ceiling didn't apply its own plywood. But if nothing was broken, they likely just sent her away with some compression bandages and a short term vicodin script and told her to follow up at the VA hospital.

She's got to have worn that church group's patience paper thin at this point: she's had them banging away on her shoddy lean-to for several weeks attempting to close off the blanket door to her kitchen. And she's a reported nightmare to work with on that - she ran off a minimum of EIGHT unlicensed contractors on it. No one would touch it besides her charity group, and if they city catches wind of what it looks like they're likely to condemn that place.

She's obviously quite injured; she's a morbidly obese woman nearing 50 who fell straight through her own living room ceiling. And she needed help to get up and get the hole patched.

So now we wait for the fallout (BOOM! Roasted.)
