Anime (and to an extent Japan) has different gender expectations than in the West (America, at least). Japanese women are expected to be really feminine, so Western women are seen as very masculine over there. If Shuichi were to visit America, he’d been mistaken as a woman.

Yep, she's a fujo badly larping as a gay man. I like how she openly admits an anime character created by a woman, for women is the whole reason she thinks she's trans. It's one of those times a cow comes remarkably close to self awareness yet still manages to miss the mark.
