Briefly coming out of lurking to share that someone has apparently "hacked" mogai-archive and deleted all the bullshit.

Someone even apologized for making up genders.

A new bullshit gender/orientation blog starting up less than 24 hours before mogai-archive got taken down seems too big and oddly specific to be a coincidence, but from what I've seen of the MA hacker they don't seem like the type who'd wanna remake that shit.
Whether this is just a big coincidence or some secret plot, we're off to a great start with things like "bubblegum gender."

Mogai-archive was so reviled that people from all walks of Tumblife are celebrating the hack. SJWs and anti-SJWs, otherkin and non-otherkin, truscum and tucutes. Bitter enemies are joining hands in momentary comradery. It's like the stories of Allied Forces and Germans laying down arms to celebrate Christmas together. This is surreal.

Half of the genders I saw on mogai-archive were different ways of phrasing the same basic concept: "it's complicated, okay?"/"sometimes I think more about my gender than other times, and somehow this is its own gender identity." (The other half were "my mental illness or otherkin identity is a gender, apparently?") Conceptual overlap is practically the house style.

(Pardon me for jumping in, but, I've been lurking around here for a while and signed up because I feel I have something to add here.)

1. Mogai-Archive WAS deleted by a mod, however, as far as I can tell from digging around, it was completely deliberate.

2. The Mod in question was apparantly Mod Ezra (url:ezrawave) and I believe the straw that broke the camel's back was Mogai-archive accepting and publishing things like "panplatonic"

There've been some posts made about it on ezrawave that I saw, and in general Ezra seems to be like "it [mogai-archive] became a shithole and it had to die."

3. Ezra now participates with the blog "thisisnotmogaiarchive" which is a Ride in itself

4. Someone with the url 'deeriness' briefly attempted to resurrect the old archive under new-mogai-archive but the backlash was so strong it was deleted after, I think, less than 24 hours.

5. Ezra wants to Fight alignment-archive. (They've been slapping back and forth at each other a little so far.)

6. Alignment-archive is as predictably shit as you'd expect

This makes me curious about how involved Ezra was with the blog. Did they hand off submission duties to the other mods? They were answering questions up until the blog's demise, so it wasn't as if they were completely taking a backseat.
And shame on you "hacker" for lying. Shame shame shame.
