Let's all indulge in a bit of nostalgia, shall we?
We all know where this is going: post moments in film/televison that fucking destroyed your poor, still developing minds as children.
Doesn't have to strictly be exclusive to children's media, as I know plenty of us have snuck in on some R-rated goodness back in the days when parents were more strict about the content their kids were consuming.
I'll start. The ending of Predator fucking scarred me as a kid.

I was pretty young when I first saw this movie. I was mesmerized by the creature in the film as I watched it through to doorway of a teen cousin's bedroom during a party. I was watching some really tame shit as a kid, Disney cartoons and the like where the villain was borderline incompetent and they all either cried or threw a tantrum at their inevitable defeats. Standard stuff.
So when the Predator started laughing it genuinely blew my mind; bad guys weren't supposed to laugh when they lost. They weren't supposed to do that. That's not how these things work, why is the bad guy laughing?
That was my thought process back then and let me tell you, couple that with the massive explosion, intense and clearly readable fear on Arnold's face, and the haunting echo of his laugh and you have a scene that spiraled out of control into consistent nightmares about similar scenarios for months. My poor young self couldn't take it and even today, villains who laugh maniacally even during their death has become something that gives me the heebeejeebes even today.
