Something has spooked Ron,either Monica has realized Rons obsessive Vic tweets are further damaging her reputation & career, his employer got pissed or something else has happened. He's using the book as an excuse to try & make himself look more enlightened & credible.
Why she has to be in my local area with a wholesome guy like Todd, is beyond me. Sadly, I already had plans to go to that con PRIOR to Monica's invite. So, there's that.
More importantly, I want to know what caused her to be suddenly okay with attending the same con as Todd where she got him kicked from a panel and Pridemoore went about telling everyone he raped her. By their logic and thinking, they ought to be leveling pitchforks at him still.
So all he had to do was drop receipts and all their suspicion and hate gets tossed out the window? What about if Vic dropped receipts that show he didn't force anything on anyone? Would they just leave him be too?

I have the mental image of Ron walking around the convention floor, remote in hand, to threaten and bully anime nerds to go to her table.
"Hey people, have you checked the table of my personal fiance out yet? Signed photo 30 bucks, blowie for 50, for 55 I clean up afterwards."
The thing is, Quinton won his civil case against the girl obsessively stalking him to the point where even the judge called out how much of a nutbag she is. Yet despite that victory under his belt, the twitter mob is still out there for him. Vic is still harassed and stalked by an angry mob that hates him everywhere he goes despite there being no proof that he did anything.
So why does Todd get a free pass if he's been accused of rape? They've shown that they don't care about factual truths and have brigaded against others who've for the most part haven't been proven guilty yet. Not that I want Todd to be witch hunted into oblivion. It just doesn't sit right with me that at first he was treated with disdain for simply being Vic's friend and now all of a sudden they're okay with him.
I hope for his sake, Todd stays the fuck away from them and doesn't engage at all lest 20 years later they'll level sexual harassment accusations at him too.
Quinton didn't win a civil case because there was no lawsuit. The judge approved Quinton's request for a protective order against Kristen Rubin.

I have a feeling that Todd isn't on Sabat's radar and that's why Monica and the Okatron 5,000 mafia aren't trying to get him fired. One of the biggest things to remember about these snakes is that if you're not ultra-religious, conservative, and treating your fans like they're people you won't get outsed. However, it's also worrying because Monica might try to use the convention as a way to fabricate a story about Todd coming onto her in a hotel room by him forcing her into his room. Or she'll try to say he's said something sexual about her at a panel or to fans and that'll start the process over again.
The biggest thing too is that I've seen Todd at conventions and he pretty much walks around with his son, goes to panels, goes to the gaming rooms, and then goes about his business if he's not indulging in the atmosphere. I wonder if Todd has stopped crashing panels or if he doesn't go to Monica's in fear of her screaming "assault." Thought it would be funny to see something like Ron trying to "tell Todd to get help" and Todd knocking the manlet on his ass.
The only time Todd was surrounded by fans (male and female) at conventions was when he was playing a fighting game I think it was either Tekken or Street Fighter and got his ass handed to him. And certain Funimation VAs bring their kids or their parents with them to conventions so they don't have time to assault Monica or anyone else.
Despite Monica's story still not making sense, I do wonder how Vic had time to assault her if he almost always brings his mom as his plus one to conventions. I call shenanigans on the "Vic is an asshole to convention staff" stories too because to be honest Vic's mom looks like she taught her gay pants wearing Trekkie to respect everyone.
And it's amusing to think that Dominique Skye thinks she can destroy Todd's life and have him "homeless" and "poor" when in fact Todd probably has way more money than Monica, Jamie, Sabat, and Schemmel as he has worked for various other companies and properties than Funimation. Todd's been working for various companies and has a steady gig at Cartoon Network in the Ben 10 reboot and I think he might have a contract with Disney or something I'll have to look into it more.
