I don't know why I'm surprised that Billy Kristal and John Goodman are back honestly? I mean Hercules cartoon series back in the 90s was able to get James Woods to repising Hades. who at that time was already a career actor like Kristal and Goodman. Maybe becuase they waited 20 years to do a tv series compare to one year with Hercules?

Anyways yeah I don't understand how are main character isn't aware of the change from scaring to laughter?

James Woods as Hades is a special case. He wrote up his contract such that only he was allowed to play the character.
He just loved doing it.
