It's not necessarily about dying - the mortality rate is pretty low compared to the number of confirmed cases, but there is no country in the world that has enough space in ICU to treat wide-scale mass infection (and if people can't get treated mortality rates might increase regardless of risk factors). I think the main point sperginity is making is that its very silly to encourage a public gathering because in general, giving it the potential to spread isn't the best idea. Even if you cut out the factor of hospital space, it doesnt sound like a whole bunch of fun to have coronavirus even if you dont end up pushing up daisies.regular care is good enough. As long as the victim isn't immunocompromised, under 1 year or over 70 years of age, or a heavy smoker, they have almost no chance of dying from this. The regular flu or godbear forbid SARS would be a far greater threat. Shame about Italy, they all smoke like chimneys over there. In Canada, the 1 in 11 death ratio so far will probably end up as 1 per 300. Most 1st world country's results will be similar. Unless you are a risk factor as listed above, or live in a shithole country with no decent care facilities, you are not gonna die from this.
