Usually they just openly fuck in front of their kids, they figure the kids are too young to understand what Mom and Dad are up to and sometimes the parents try to excuse it by saying it's their way of educating their kids about sex and reproduction.

I've never known anyone who has sex in front of their kid. I personally would be turned off sex if a kid was in the room, especially if it was my kid. I know a girl who does co-sleep with her kid with her boyfriend, and they actually don't have sex at all. Not that they had sex much anyways, but the baby just killed most of their sex drive.

Their reasoning for it was that they felt the majority of what kids learn about sex should be taught to them by their parents, which is a perfectly reasonable belief, but then they took it that one step further...

I really can't wrap my head around that logic, of simply "trying to teach them", there are much better (and healthier) ways to explain it to kids without having to traumatize them.
