Movie Genres You Like -

The title says it all. What are some specific genres of films you really like?

For me, I rather like crime thrillers, westerns, black comedies where the main characters are all borderline sociopaths and horror movies that capitalize surrealism.

I'm a real sucker for Coming-of-Age films, especially of the John Hugues ilk.

Moyder flicks as well, especially ones which detail the perfect moyder

And baseball films, baseball has a special place in my heart.

Lots of horror and animated (not really anime) films.

I really like found footage and Asian horror.

I'm into a whole smorgasbord of genres. Action, thrillers of shapes and sizes, horror films, anime, monster movies, dramas, arthouse films, cult films... You name the genre, I'm willing to watch it.

I'm willing to watch anything that grabs my eye. Recently, I have the liking for character based stuff. I like it when you get into the character's mind and see how they react to everything.

Also, I'm into animation. Mostly Disney from their beginnings up til 2000s.

I like musical comedies that aren't musicals (although "On the Town" is my jam) like School of Rock, This is Spinal Tap and UHF.

Luchadore movies. They're like normal b-movies but they have masked wrestlers. So when the heir to Dr Frankenstein shows up to make trouble it's up to El Santo & Blue Demon to stop him.

I've always been drawn to animated movies myself. Although I also like the occasional classic horror film or a film with a fantasy theme.
