Self-explanatory, really.

Any film directed by Todd Solondz. There's dark comedy, and then there's having a psychopathic pedophile who fantasizes about killing people in his spare time as one of the main characters. There's a big difference.

I totally agree with you. An ex of mine told me I really needed to see Welcome to the Dollhouse so we watched it; I remember describing the movie as an "emotional snuff film". Then I watched Palindromes and felt the same way. In a similar vein, movies like Kids, Bully, etc - they just make you feel really awful inside.

ANY movie with an overly jingoistic/nationalistic perspective irritates me, no matter what country is being glorified/demonized. I dont like propaganda as a general rule, and wannabe propaganda is just a drag to sit through.

Which luckily gives me ample reason never to watch shit from roland emmerich or michael bay

I also refuse to watch the films of Roman Polanski and the guy who made Jeepers Creepers because I dont like the idea of paying these scumbags, no matter how remotely.

Pretty much any horror movie. Monsters scare the shit out of me and I can't explain why.

Twilight Breaking Dawn, parts 1 AND 2. Just the concept of Renesmee makes me want to vomit because of her name, she's a demon spawn, a Mary Sue, and has a pedophilic boyfriend.

Probably the Twilight movies, just out of common sense.

And otherwise... I guess "It's A Wonderful Life." not because I have anything against it, but I somehow made it through my entire life without seeing it once, and it irritates people to no end when I mention that every Christmas.

The Omen. I'm not a religious person but reading about the 'curse' kind of put me off wanting to watch it. I do like to watch Omen rip-offs though, my favourite being Ring of Darkness.

Faces of Death and similar mondo films. While I'm aware that most of it is fake, there are still some real deaths in them. I refuse to watch anything with real deaths (unfortunately, it's harder to avoid movies where animals are being killed so I try to avoid watching cannibal/extreme exploitation films altogether).

Not a fan of extreme violence so I refuse to watch all of those French New Wave films like Martyrs and Haute Tension. I just don't find theme entertaining, that's all.

MST3K and Rifftrax (sorry Judge Holden!). One day, I might watch an episode but I just find the whole mentality rather toxic. You often find some try-hards trying to emulate the success of MST3K with their own idiotic knock-offs (e.g. DST3K). These people think that ANYTHING that's remotely 'B-class' or 'low-budget' is automatically terrible and deserves to be torn to shreds with wiseass comments. I'm sure the original MST3K is really awesome but the fanbase they have spawned kind of puts me off and besides, how is a Rifftrax of Carnival of Souls entertaining? It's probably just "HUR HUR THIS MOVIE TRIES HARD BUT LOOK AT THAT BLINKING CORPSE".

Lilo and Stitch.
I never liked the film, I don't know why, but I just don't.
even a few weeks ago I tried giving it a chance, but it's just so..I don't know, I just don't like it.
modern horror films that depend alot on gore instead of suspense and shit. guts like that just ircks me.
most action films, they just feel bland.
other that, if I watch bad movies, I'll just talk shit on them while watching since I'm that one douche bag that comments on every flaw I see in a movie because it's fun.

Almost any romantic comedy except for The Room. I have yet to see one that keeps me all the way through instead of making me walk away. The Room, The Room is an exception as far as romance movies go.

Oh I like this thread.

There are two movies I've watched recently that really, really upset me. First of all, I love horror movies. I love them! I am the biggest horror film geek, but I don't like to see movies where people get tortured or mutilated. I don't really know why. I also don't like movies where they show women (or men) being raped.

So there are these two movies that really bother me. "Megan goes Missing" and "Dead Girl."

I watched "Dead Girl" because netflix made it out to be a story about two high school boys who find an immortal girl inside an abandoned mental hospital. Alright, sounds like a cheesy B-movie with the promise of a supernatural love triangle. Honestly the description made the movie sound cute. Nope. Wrong. So wrong. Not cute at all. What did these boys do when they found the immortal girl? Tie her to a bed and rape her. Rape her over and over, and keep her tied up as a living sex doll. It was horrible. Then at the end, she escapes and they "kill" a girl friend of theirs to make into a replacement Dead Girl. Horrible movie.

"Megan goes Missing" was a similar netflix deception. The movie claimed to be about, well, a girl called Megan who goes missing and her sweet dorky friend who tries to find her. The movie was decent ( badly acted, but decent) until the last 15 minutes. The poor dorky friend (both girls were 14, btw) ends up getting kidnapped by the same man who kidnaps Megan. And then he ties her to a weird homemade bondage device that has metal bits poking through her....you knows.. and rapes her. The scene is ten minutes long. And they show it all. Then he dumps her into a barrel with Megan's remains and buries her alive. I had nightmares for weeks.

Sorry to kill the mood there.... :'(
