Mundane Matt can spend all of his time effectively flagging videos for no reason at all, yet can’t be bothered to create engaging content for his YT page, or learn how to be a left-wing grifter right.

I've used this comparison before, but the only real difference between Ralph and Matt is that Ralph's shit is all out in the open. With Matt there is a lot more evidence of skeletons in the closet, but unfortunately we don't have a lot of it out to examine.

I knew there was a reason why this thread kept moving so slowly. It almost seems like Ethan and Boogie are more engaging at being cows than Matt.

GG was never copted by the right-wing. It did however help push a fair amount of young liberals and centrist types to be more critical of the media and what you were hearing in college. It opened a ton of peoples eyes to how insanely manipulative the media had gotten and people made the logical jump from "OH MY GOD THERE IS CORRUPTION IN GAMING JOURNALISM" to realizing that it's the entire news media that's corrupt. It was a stepping stone. There was no evil Nazi boogieman behind the scenes recruiting people into their white power van. People just put two and two together about what they were reading and consuming in news and entertainment.

Apparently Matt admitting with video evidence provided by himself is only an "accusation" instead of "damning evidence" these days, and the individual who hosted the streaming revealing this affects the validity somehow.

You know, even talking Ralph's current state of decay into consideration, that stream was legendary. I still can't believe it wasn't scripted. Just look at this:

- First things first, audience is warmed up by the recollection of the damage i.e. stricken channels and videos.
- Then Matt shows up, doesn't act too cocky, gives bullshit excuse with boulders, like any antagonist (it's also a good hook for later comebacks, that any good author leaves), nobody believes him, but still they have no proof that he did it.
- Then Keem shows up and it goes sideways - audience is mad, since they can't pin him down and make him pay. All is lost.
- Then Zidan brings up the fact, that you can view your flagging history. That's it - turning point!
- Matt starts wiggling around, since all he had was "I was with my family picking up boulders", but other hosts are not convinced. It's getting hot.
- Matt drags it as much as he can, tension grows and grows, finally Keem has enough and he starts counting down, which is cliched as fuck!
- Matt finally breaks down and shows that yes, he did it. Hosts and audience explode!
- Then suddenly Ralph comes back to his senses and screams "NOW WAIT A MINUTE, MATT, NO, MATT, NO!" which at that point sounds almost like a one-liner.
- Then Jim forces utterly destroyed Matt to tell that he is soy-filled bitch, who flags other people's channels. "You get what you fucking deserve!"

Just change names and subjects, but keep the structure. It's almost like a court drama/interrogation. No wonder people liked it so much.

I missed some stuff because boogie's demise was more interesting lately. Matt had recently a meltdown/bad headspace time on 3 buck, said that he didn't like "movie news" any more (basically stuff about the mandalorean and the snyder cut and that's it) and starting anew with once again a new channel with 400 subs. The release of the snyder cut killed the "raison d'être" of his 3 buck theater channel and he never went viral like in 2012. He of course still published 4 videos about the snyder cut after that but one can feel the despair. I think matt is realizing that being 40, uber eats driver and owner of multiple failed youtube channels with no more creative inspiration is a dead end.
