I think a general thread for this would improve the board and get some discussion going, so yeah! Ask for a recommendation, and recommend things yourself.

I am looking for some Mac DeMarco-like jangle-pop, but spacier.

Pure Guava is really goofy, really great listen! Enjoy!

And I think I've missed the mark on the recommendation you're actually looking for lol. Jangle-Space Rock? Do you mean Shoegaze?

Nah, an example was already posted, but I do love shoegaze. pinkshinyultrablast (both the album and the band) are pretty good. Have you heard "Kairon; IRSE!"? Some killer MBV worship with half English, half Russian vocals.

The Last Gunfighter Ballad is possibly the greatest and most underrated country album of all time.

Doctor Placebo

Bloody, bloody 2020.

Stolen Babies, a criminally underrated band that makes pretty unique sounding music I can only describe as "circuscore." They've listed their influences as everything from Oingo Boingo to Fishbone, to Mr. Bungle, and it shows. While their music is steeped in that early 2000's edginess it holds up a lot better than most of that sort of music because of how experimental it is and how much variety there is between tracks or even within the same track. Did I mention they use an accordion? If you like Mindless Self Indulgence you might want to give them a try, because while they aren't quite the same sound, they have a similar manic energy.

Boxcutter Boys are surprisingly good bluegrass project by the members of several Oi! bands. Rough, stripped down, and earthy, with a vocalist who sounds more like a British roughneck than an Appalachian hillbilly. This music will give you visions of dock workers and factories from a bygone era.

Heres some Russian Rock and the bands name is KINO which is an accurate description of their music.
