Music that makes you nostalgic: Video Game edition. -

This thread is for video game music that gives you a sense of nostalgia.

Yes, earthbound has an incredibly autistic fan base, but the music in the game makes me super nostalgic, especially this one.

Especially the version with vocals, although the vocals sound extremely cheesy, that version causes me intense nostalgia overload.

Now songs like that is part of the reason why the earthbound fanbase is so autistic, but you can listen to it and it gives you a sense of innerwarmth, as cheesy as it is. It sounds autistic, but the music from Earthbound actually has helped me get through some dark times in my life.

I was actually never huge in Earthbound, I only played it once as a teenager and although Earthbound is one of the rare games that does hold a special place in my heart, it's the music and soundtrack that is the most memorable.

If I ever adopt a daughter, then I am going to sing her the lyrics to Pollyanna.

Like I said before, the lyrical version is cheesy, but it is a song that is memorable and nostalgic and did get me through some hard times, you can't help but feel happy by it.
